TD is nuking the towels as I type, I have ironed all my jeans and Minion's school shirts...
...and Minion has ironed all her jeans, put them on hangers and taken them away with the shirts
What a surprisingly thing for her to want to be taught to do on New Year's Eve!
She also did the DW again.
I think I'm just going to declutter the last of the beers, as I'm tired and have been looking forward to a bath with my smellies from DD1 since Boxing Day.
Why am I so tired?
Oh well. It's not as if I have to go anywhere tomorrow.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

Have finished DVD watching, and am just buying myself a present in the Celtic sheepskin sale
I will have to go into Laura Ashley tomorrow as I can't tell whether the lampshade in the sale (which I need for the study as I don't have one in there) is the right colour or not. And the curtain tie-backs are showing at two different prices... Strangely the higher one is the one that comes up at the checkout!
Not sure wine with a cold was a good idea, so may head off to bed with a hot water bottle soon... Which will also involve putting a few more clothes away if I want to use the bed!
Happy New Year to you all... See you next year ... I may even do some flying, although i'm sure I'll do more procrastination than anything else!0 -
Just popping in to say Happy New Year to you all.
Thank you for your friendship and support this year. Here's to 2012:TYesterday is history

Just popping on to say happy new year. We've had a quiet evening in watching the new poirot we recorded and eating pizza. I am really aiming to fly properly in 2012 and do a hhc each day on one room. My other aims are serious weight loss and try to build up my freelance work.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0

Great to see you rach... It must be nearly time for a catchup again. We'll have to see whether we can persuade froddy to do some walking with us...
Now I've moved some stuff out of my bedroom and back into the study, I can see the dust bunnies. But they'll have to wait, as my cold and I are going to try to get some sleep...0 -
Well flagging now...and my kindle beckons
(is amazed that I can order a book on the PC and it miraculously appears on the Kindle)
it's been lovely to have your support. My thoughts go out to those of you struggling with various illnesses; losses, difficulties and I wish you all a peaceful, financially comfortable and less stressful 2012.
(I have been knitting -made excellent progress with the jacket for the NDNs grandson, due at the end of Jan. I'm knitting the two fronts simultaneously - have already done that with the sleeves, but need better lighting now I have shoulders to shape. Still; nearly there and I have LOVED knitting with this wool cashmere/merino/silk blend!)
We're off to Northampton tomorrow - family party (again) so may not get on...

Just back from an evening with some friends green laning, never done that before on New Years or driving the lanes myself as DP usually does those so I enjoyed my little self
boys & woofs enjoyed it too. Didn't drink my flask of coffee so I've just had that, silly idea at 2am. I got the washing basket empty only to be informed DSs had another basket full so nothing special done for new year
I must must must wash the curtains .... Might see if I can talk DP into taking them down this week as he can do it without a ladder
Happy new year everyone
One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200

Morning All
Happy New Year everyone - hope it's a wonderful one for all.
Not sure what's happening today yet - DD wants me to take her shopping and then she's got a friend coming over at 3 for a sleepover ready for her birthday tomorrow. I think she wants me to make a birthday cake with her as well and she needs to sort her room out.
Have a good day all
Hugs
