  • Hello hello!! Good morning!

Just a very quick not ebecause I am late already - late because I was packing my ebay items! I sold everything so far, I sold 7 items (these are the small ones, the samples, the dvd's yet to come) and already made £9.29 minus ebay fees... well that's not bad for unused samples. So I am sending them out today... Catt, good luck with your clothes, I want to check them out :)

I realised whats the hardest thing when you're a DFW... it is resisting the temptation. I now have £1480 on my HSBC credit card, limit £2000 - I could buy anything I wanted on that card! Hard, hard. Yesterday I was in selfridges and it was a nightmare in the bags section. Knowing that I COULD put it on the plastic and the shiny new thing is mine... this is not easy. I need to pay off that card asap and leave it home...

Today I will go an collect samples in my free 2 hours in the afternoon :)))) if I can get 30, I will have a little soya latte to celebrate.

Tuastic: hi :) I dont drink milk, only soya, thats the problem, its 30p more expensive than milk... but I am trying to cut back... what was your crash diet about? no dairy, no fat, no sugar, just no food?? :) I did that too, not for the same of dieting, but for the sake of money saving... got me into the hospital.... Tha gift cert. ideas are really good, and thanks yto bananakiz for that useful website!!! :)

SF: am sooo great, how are you today? I am worried about today's food because I am leaving soon and then I will have to eat out, I cant pack lunch b ecause I cant bring in food where I am going... so I dont really know what to eat all day until 8pm... and then I will have to buy luggage, just a small one because I dotn have, thats pspending again but my friends know a bargain place so we go there in the evening...

Resisting temptation is the hardest thing. I am sucker for DVDS, whether on ebay, on sale or just general. So I think the best thing is, and you've already said it, is to pay the card off, but in the meantime, leave it at home so you can't spend on it! :)

I dont drink milk either, I have soya, which is more expensive :( Is there a particular reason why you drink it? I actually prefer the taste! I love soya lattes, they'll be the death of me!

I'm good thanks :) I'm sorry I didn't get on here before you left, but I hope you have a good day, and are being sensible ;) Hopefully you'll be back online later. :)

  • Hi again....not had chance to catch up with your diary till now...

Glad to hear you're staying where you are...it sounds fab, although living in the city is great for a while you do tend to spend more...or was that just me?

Glad to hear your ebaying is going well....I love watching the end of the sale....things that don't even have watchers are suddenly bought...the best thig is if there are 2 people after the same item...prices can get silly!

You need to freeze your credit card in a tupperware box thingy...then you have to really think about whether you want to spend on it, removes the risk of spur of the moment spending.

I wish you'd eat more! it helps concentration as well as all the other good things it does for your body...i'm going to try your wraps though..i love wraps but can never think what to put in them. TKMaxx is good for luggage, i got a fab delsey suitcase for a fraction of the regular price.

    Have a fab weekend....

  • Hi SF & Kitts & everyone,

yeah, those soya lattes... I just bought a big one litre alpro skinny soya (!) to the office to make my lattes there... I prefer the taste, also don't want to eat dairy anyhow, and third reason is that I do not mix meat and dairy products so if I had dairy, I would have to watch my eating so that I dont have meat within a specific timeframe and vice versa, drinking soya just makes the problem go away....

So, I sold everything on ebay so far and everyone but three people paid already. Paypal balance: £14.35. Ebay fees: £4.60 but this will increase because of the final value fees :( another 19 will sell tomorrow, but I have 32 more on sale so I am slightly worried about the rest of my dvds, what if they just dont sell....

Eating: let me do a little food diary... yesterday I had coffee, coffee, water, water, orange, then broccolis for lunch (only 45 p at work, I didnt want to spend more) and in the evening lots of water and 3 chicken nuggets (free).

This morning I had half a baguette (free) big glass of freshly squeezed orange jice (free) then a banana from M&S because I felt like fainting at midday (26p) and then a soya latte just now which was huge, half a litre (35p for soya, 0 for coffee bits, overall cost: 35p. I am a bit hungry.

So I went to selfridges, debenhams, john lewis and fraser to get samples. Well, it was dissappointing. They all said they dont have samples, apart from a few places. It was a bit embarrassing actually, but then I decided not to give up.. so when I went to the next place I changed my speech and said that their colleagues at the same brand counter in debenhams/wherever said they might have this and this samples for me, and voila, they did... so I got three clinique samples and one molton brown, its a bit pathetic, considering that I wanted to collect about 40 samples and got 4.. lol its actually a bit funny... I will put them on ebay tomorrow. Seems like they dont really want to give samples away... maybe they keep them for themselves...

Kitts you're right its easier to spend money here... but ebay is soo addictive, I love watching the end of the sales...

I WILL have to put that card away, leave it at home, burn it, cut it, rip it, bury it, anything................................................ i just dont have the willpower to be honest with you....

I got to go pack three items that i just sold and that have been paid for!!! :) yay

    x x x x x x thanks for writing to me!

oh ps: i decided i can do without a luggage because one of my friends can lend me one. just saved £10!!!! :D

Actually I used to eat a lot and nowadays I am always hungry... I want to eat much more than what I am eating now. But on the other hand, whenever I have proper food, I appreciate it much more now. I dont know - since I realised tat I think it was december, without the xmas spendings, I spent £416 on food only (going out, going out and goign out....) I am just so scared of spending on food...

:) it was quite nice thank you. am extremely tired for some reason so going to bed soon. How was your day? Have you ever had a debt free diary? if yes can I read it? :)

out of 36 dvds now 21 will sell, according to ebay. I hope at least 30 sell... but I only have postage at home to cover 8 which means an expense of buying postage for 22, and that's not going to be cheap. Oh well.

gotta go to sleep, will be back tomorrow! thanks for always being here :j
