Thanks, I guess I am proud of the savings, even though they aren't that much really. But considering I have no income apart from my student loan, I think I'm doing okay :)
Re: the bank loan, 7.4% doesn't seem very high, but I'm not sure its the best solution. Would you be able to afford mortgage repayments etc? Someone with a better answer will be along shortly, I'm sure :)
What are you upto today? Anything moneysaving? I'm attempting a NSD today :)

Are you joking? I would be jumping up and down if I had those savings. Well done you!!!!!!!!

Well still considering other options about mrotgage, but anyhow I would only do it if I buy a two bed flat and rent out one of the rooms and take in a ldoger, that would cover mortgage ;)

Ehh work. moneysavings today: not bought soya latte (saved £3.30) + dinner in synagogue so = FREE. and still got some choccy in my drawer if i get demotivated, to keep me going...

Good luck to NSD!!! how's it going so far - achieved? dont forget, half a day has passed.... :) I am doing NSD tomorrow.

Proud to announce that Friday I spent £2.66 on diet cokes (but that will cover next week!) and that was it. And YESTERDAY (as it's already sunday) I have spent... well £0!. Hehe I woke up late, i had a diet coke, then went to synagogue, there i ate an apple (free) then I had lunch there as weelll (wanted to stuff mysaelf since its free but funnily enough i could hardly eat... it was funny chicken curry with rice but they also served yumi sauces), and then in the afternoon my friend bought me a starbucks (YEEEEESSSSSS!!!) a venti one so it filled me up until i got home at 7 (had to come home to do laundry etc as tomorrow busy day...) and i ate blueberries (free, from mum) and a banana (same thing) and thats it (and i worked it off as decluttered, did laundry, hoovered and packed for 5 hours non stop, i am telling you.... so losing weight too, hopefully) so this was a NSD!!! I dont have many of these so extra happy about it.

Tomorrow breakfast (have stuff at home = free) then gym, then lunch with friends, and we go out, this will be tricky but i hope i get it under a tenner (£10) and then socialising sorted for a while... thing is we either go to carluccios or dim t. oh well... in the evening there will be food at the party, so no more spend so if all goes well I will spend only £10. And since I have £4 in coins as extra, it will count as only spending £6 which is not bad.

  • Thanks, you have a good day too :)

Today I got a lot of money deducted from my cureent account, I am so down. £6 for credit ref agencies banking my cheques (£2 each.) £9 S/O, another £10 S/O and I withdrew a tenner for office lunches. This will take me through the week but still. Current debt £4194.70.
And I am, again, not well. I have been struggling with this illness for more than a year now it comes and goes in waves. I cant have treatment again, not for £85 per hour. NHS wont contribute. Am a bit down.
On the positive side, tomorrow I shall be receiving £37 from paypal. That will be good.
But the DD of £98 will take me down to my overdraft again so when I get paid I wont get £1400 I willonly get £1350 as 50 will cover the overdraft straight away. I am so down.

    Hello.

I don’t really feel like moneysaving today.

I was in a realy bad mood and I have a habit of comfort eating or drinking, so I had 4 cans of diet cokes already today!

I was reading my early diary entries and got so dissappointed.. I was planning to be debt free by now and I could have been, if I hadn't been stupid.

    Everything seems very dark now.

And I hate my commitments. The stupid gym at £49.9 a month which I am not even using and cant get out of…

The amount I spend on mobile phones…

The stupid lifestyle protection insurance I took out earlier this yr…

The stupid overseas property I have to keep paying for…

I am sick of not having enough money

    :(:(

There's a thread somewhere with a list of all the 'free money' on Quidco - I will go and look for a link for you.
