Which tyre - Kenda or Rapid. URGENT!!

So budget tyres - are they still ojkay to get. I drive quite smoothly and don't do any harsh braking so they should last a good while still I am assuming???

(well more like a bar fight that just spilled out of the bar next door, and came into this one, but you get the idea)

The whole budget tyre debate on here is getting a bit tedious- every thread ends up the same as the last 7 or 8 in the previous months!
I had Kenda on my car- didn't rate them one bit on that car and the tyre review site seems to agree with my thoughts. Chucked them as soon as affordable- Hankooks all round and much better.
In my personal view some budgets are OK- I've used them Hi-Fly and others, others are certainly not and it is a bit more of a lottery with unknown brands. I prefer to go mid-range (your Barum, Hankooks, Uni-royal etc) which cost maybe £5-10 a corner more. Each to their own however.
Up to each individual however to make a call.0 -

Can't afford decent tyres means you shouldn't be motoring. Not what people want to hear but the truth nevertheless, especially when you drive near me on your crap budget remoulds in order to save an extra tenner for the pub.0 -

But if they are new, meet all the EU /BS specifications, then why are they not "decent". It is brand marketing.
