This happened to me too, one of my orders also went missing, I too was given advantage points but slightly more than you but I also had another order affected whereby i received it but was partially opened and 2 items missing.

To be honest with you there is no point in trying to pursue it, Boots have refunded the cost of your order, you still have £10 worth of advantage card points and a discount on a future order, in fairness to Boots they don't have to give you compensation, not many companies do as far as I'm aware.

I was annoyed too but it's just one of those things and am more than happy with what they gave me. Just put it down to bad luck and move on. There is no breach of contract, they couldn't complete the deal (through no fault of their own) so in turn refunded you.

If you haven't noticed already the 75% sale is starting soon, with the money you saved from the 50% buy some bits, you may not get the sets you want but you may get a bargain.:)

It's rather off for boots to have 1200 customers orders go amiss and do nothing about it :mad:

If the orders were stolen then how is it Boots fault? Whether this is the truth or not I'm just thankful I received a full refund and very grateful for the goodwill gestures.

These things happen, annoying......yes! End of the world......no!

It would be interesting to know EXACTLY what happened. I'm sure many of the 1200 will not shop online with Boots again so what good is discount to them??

It doesn't affect me, but I do feel for other people...end of the world??? Isn't that this year? :P

Somebody said some stores open at 4am (airport stores) and some normal stores open at 7am, if anybody knows of any of these stores or can find any on the store locator maybe you can post the stores phone number and see if anybody dare phone up and ask lol

Nothing happening yet, the kind of see through shutters are down so I can't see properly. I find it really strange that people say some stores have their signs up but boots have confirmed its not today! How do they make it so confusing?!
