If anyone is awake around 4 in the morning the airport stores open then, they do have a selection of sale stock so it may be worth giving them a ring to find out whether it is on or not. Just an idea...hint hint
My hubby works at the airport (not Boots though) but he is not on shift in the morning  wonder if I could persuade him to go in for a little overtime just to check for me!0 -
This thread is so addictive need to leave this laptop down and Step away from it!!!!!!!! and I'm a bit like one of the kids at Christmas, excited for tomorrow!!! lol can't help it!! fingers crossed it's tomorrow Mums coming with me got lots of bargains last year at our local and it's just a small boots. Had no idea they even had a 75% sale until I accidentally walked in last year to do a message for someone, hardly anyone was in, I read the signs as I was about to walk out and I was like a crazy woman filling baskets!!!Lol
I know they've taken it down online but there were still items in the sale section earlier I just couldn't open them, wonder will it go online at midnight?? Boots don't give much away!!
Hope everyone picks up lots of bargains anyway, every penny helps in these tough timesMoney Saving Mummy to three little monkeys:hello::j :hello:It might not make sense right now but everything happens for a reason and down the line you always see why0 -
75% signs up in one of the smaller Boots stores on Tott Court Road, London around 8pm. Larger store was still open at the time.0

Yeah - the small one had closed already but definitely had a large red sign up. Couldn't see the sale section so don't know how much stock they have. I'm taking about the one halfway up, nearer goodge street station.0 -
My local store which is 4 miles away opens at 8:30am but when I was in there on Thursday they had cleared 2 aisles of shelves so don't think there is much left. It has probably been moved to the bigger store which is 20 miles away even though that store was overloaded with stock when I was there on New Years Eve. My local Boots opens at 8.30am, I want a lie in so don't fancy getting up and out the door to be there for store opening time when I could be disappointed with whats left of the sale. Nothing really caught my eye in the 50% off sales but I am so tempted to drive 20 miles away as that store opens at 9.30am.. What to do what to do! I think I'll be annoyed at seeing 75% off all these Sanctuary gift sets I bought for gifts, thinking of the money I could have saved.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0

any idea how i can pursue this - order items on christmas eve in the sale - i was not until 6th Jan i contacted the courier to check on the tracking number for my parcel Boots had sent me, to be told that Boots had not sent them the Parcel. good were lost/stolen and in the meantime Boots thinking this was a problem the items were sold out.
i want the items i had ordered that boots still have but are now at full price again. the best they offer is £10 of advantage card points and a discount voucher to buy from boots.com. the items i had bought and had confirmation of the order were at 50% off! Oh they give me a refund, it will take 14 days to get back to may credit card and so in all i may pay 25 odd days debit interest on a order of several hundred pounds.....and of course as they cancel the order they will deduct the advantage point - give me £10 as compo and take away the £14 the order earned (?)
anyone any idea how i can pursue this? im not happy with a refund, and few quid advantage points. i ordered christmas gift set, with perfume and body lotion etc, i get that the beautifully packaged gift set is seasonal and sold out but i want the items i ordered that they have on their shelves as individual items but Boots wont do that as they are at full price again. there is a breach or contract
i have called Boots and turns out there are 1200 of us who ordered online and the lorry carrying our orders , and im not getting a consistent story from Boots, the goods stolen (and i guess Boots get the insurance money not at SALE prices!) or the items were recovered and sent back to the warehouse to be resold - we lose our orders and in my case 12 days were i could have gone to a Boots store and buy the items on sale, but as Boots had told me my order was on its way i didnt need to.
im not happy to just say ho hum and put it down to a bad experience - i loved Boots and thought it a really great brand and great service but thats not the case at all. i had to do all the leg work myself to find out what happened - heard different stories from different staff, had to chase when call back promise were not kept. this situation had mad me more sad than angry - they simply dont care0 -
I can't offer anything really constructive other then trading standards and CAB. Also contact some of the tabloids and see if they will run a story for you.
It's rather off for boots to have 1200 customers orders go amiss and do nothing about it
