Note to self: STEP AWAY FROM THIS THREAD!!!!!

I am doing my own head in with the will-it won't-it stuff, so many posts earlier were stating that it definitely WON'T be tomorrow, now the past two pages there have been a few saying it surely WILL and so it's gone on for the past few days, aaaargh!!! I am seriously confused! Boots are the absolute masters at throwing up smokescreens!!! I'm sure they do this on purpose - randomly select stores to be informed that it will be taking place, and then randomly select more stores to tell that it's not happening!!

Last year a few smaller stores didn't get word that the sale was cancelled and so started the sale, manually adjusting at the tills until word filtered through IIRC. Same again this year?

I am loving this thread. I wonder if they sit readin these posts at boots HQ and chuckle that we are all just waiting to jump pounce.

  • If anyone is awake around 4 in the morning the airport stores open then, they do have a selection of sale stock so it may be worth giving them a ring to find out whether it is on or not. Just an idea...hint hint
  • I imagine all the top bods in Boots HQ sat around the board room laughing their heads off at all of us, I have just read through pages of, it is, it isn't and it feels just like last year - I loved the hype last year and the year before and have to admit have done this year too - stands up and admits 'I miss the Boots glitches thread'

Dont know if you have an asda near you ,but all of ours are selling the same photo pens, frames ,keyrings etc as boots but they are all only £1 ,might be worth a try

Thank you! Someone else on here suggested Asda previously and managed to buy some last week!

Just to keep in with the theme of the thread...............I have no idea when the sale is but selfishly i hope it's next week just so this thread lasts that bit longer :p. It's amused me a great deal over the past few days but the good in me outweighs the selfishness and so for everyone's sanity I hope it's tomorrow. :)
  • Just been to Boots in riverside Norwich and they still had the 50% off signs up but obviously may not mean much.

I am at work tomorrow 6am - 2pm so hope it is next week as I will be on 2pm -10pm shift
