It took a while to order my things from Boots on Xmas eve but eventually got there and they arrived today. I stocked up on gifts and presents and a few treats for me too! Hope your orders arrive soon.

I made an order on Christmas Eve, late afternoon, which say still processing.

Last year the orders came out much quicker BUT I also had problems with items not arriving that I had ordered. I await the dreaded - your order has been partially despatched email......no idea what their system is....

I had to admit, after all the online sale problems, I now place my online order AND go into store. If they have an item instore that I have ordered online, I buy it anyway, and if it does turn up in the online order, it goes back - or I have 2! I just don't trust the online system. I prefer to have the items in my hands - and can use points, vouchers etc in store....

Hope you all get what you ordered, it's such a let down on a massive scale by Boots every year when they can't track their order systems properly....I always take the attitude now that what doesn't arrive saves me money, but it's still a let down for people who aren't used to this haphazard system....

Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!
  • I'm starting to worry too, as my 1st and 3rd order (I made on xmas eve) have turned up, but my main order 2nd one, hasn't got anything by it, just processing? I have recieved an email acknowledgement, and email confirmation of the order but no dispatch info, which considering both the other orders came yesterday is worrying! Will be so upset, as I have so many pressies for my DD's upcoming bday in that order, and didn;t go to store as I thought the items were secure?

Are they not secure until dispatch, or are they secured by the time a confirmation email comes through, does anyone know??

I thought that when i got the acknowledgement and then an order confirmation that my order had been placed and everything i ordered would be sent. If i knew what i knew now, that they have this problem every year. Then YES! I would of gone to the shop on Boxing day and bought them (even if i did end up with two) just to be sure.
I have emailed Boots, twice this evening and hope everyone that had problems with their orders does the same, hopefully this would make them get off their backside and sort out their crappy system.

I ordered from M & S sale (boots half price!) ordered xmas day, got them yesterday. Their stock system when ordering gives you an idea of how many they have. Plus they do mention about rarely they have a problem sending.
Nothing on Boots website to say anything like that, so we just all expect to get what we have ordered. Won't make the same mistake again with Boots, i will just take my money elsewhere. Also not expecting much of an answer from them to my emails!!!
These days SORRY seems to be such a hard word to say for these companies!!!!!
  • I had no problems ordering the items, I orderd at about 7.55am, and my order went straight through, no glitches or page refreshes. I've never had a problem with Boots beofre only sending out a partial order, I really do hope I don't get an email from them saying stuffs gone OOS, as it was instock when I placed the order, and instock for a while after I placed my order as I went back online to check a few prices! Grrrrr! Guess I'll just have to be patient and see what happens!

Just checked my order status, and the parcel I collected from store yesterday is still saying processing!?? Maybe the system is slow??

  • As the title says - Philosophy toiletries weren't reduced immediately after Xmas but several of them have 50% off now:

Now to try and resist myself, seeing as I have enough toiletries to open my own shop...

  • I placed 3 orders at different times on 24th. They all gave a delivery date of 5th January on the screen as the order was placed (clearly stated before I agreed to buy) That's still a week away. What date were you given that is making you panic that they won't arrive? All of mine say processing.

So far the boots system is doing what it said it would. It said my goods would be delivered on 5th Jan (or before). They now show they are being processed. I can't see anything wrong with the system.

What date did they give you when you placed the order? If you are contacting customer services then I imagine the date must have already passed- did you pay for express or named day delivery?

Boots is going offline Jan 2-6 for some long overdue improvements :) 4 days is a long time so I reckon the whole site & system will be overhauled. Hopefully the repeat problems that have dogged the sales in recent years will be no more!
