Boots 1/2 Price Sale

For S and G fans:
In my store - S and G stuff had all gone (wasn't too fussed) although I did see a mens roll up thing that had male S and G stuff in and I saw a lady with what looked like a biscuit tin in her basket which was S and G.
So S and G was still available at the very start of the sale but as it is noon now !
And just a heads up - I plumped for a "Joules" breadmaking tin with two big jars of jam and two spoons (£18). Just opened the pack and the jam is top quality stuff and there are lots of bonus hidden items in the pack - ribbon, string, waxed discs, decorative circles, elastic bands - even a pack of yeast !
And a £10 off £50 coupon for those who shop at Joules !
Worth every penny of £4.50 !0 -
very civilised in slough and its almost all gone. There were loads there when i got there at 9 by the time i left 11. It was all gone.0

S + G tins were all cleared out in Romford by two women working together. They missed the display by the main tills though so there were still some left there half an hour ago. No Gok, No sanctuary, only No 7 make up and cheekily, the GWP from before Christmas priced up as £20 (with 75% off). Got a few toys and some toiletry set - I smelt the hello kitty for the first time and contrary to a previous poster, I think it smells divine, so bought the box and wash bag as well as the hand soap and cream duo. A good haul but missing my No 7!0

Got to my local at 7.45am , store opened at 8.30am, after a phone call from a friend last night who said they'd restocked with new stuff.
By the time the man opened the door I'd been pressed almost face against it by the people behind :rotfl:.
Managed to get some Champneys sets, there was one big round vanity case originally £40 and some boxes . There was loads of sanctuary, I got two barbies down to £7.50 and a remote controlled bike down to £10. Got a few bags of gift sets so very happy. But I was good I went through my bags before checkout and removed what I knew I wouldn't want :A. Very Happy0 -
The barbies weren't reduced in mine sadly, still scanning full price for some reason
However just double checked and it was a Champneys set I got not Sanctuary, the large box originally £50! What a fab gift. There was one large orange bag of Sanctuary but my arms hurt from carrying the bags, I only bought six items too!Comping wishlist for 2017
1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuffThe more you put into life, the more you get out0 -
Trafford Centre was heaving, though reasonably civilized. No fisticuffs! I was chatting to one woman who said that last year the shelves were re-stocked before lunchtime, but SA said everything they had was now out. I was pleased with what I got, all planned. Took stuff back to exchange so spent very little in actual cash, but was able to use a total spend voucher from the acm. The SA said it hadn't worked because I had exchanged stuff, but it did. One happy bunny.
Am I the only one who doesn't like the orange Sanctuary packaging?0 -
Trafford Park retail park all cleared out by 11am! SA said they were queuing outside but staff has no idea about the sale!! There were a couple of Peppa Pig play sets left at £3 that was all that was worth having!0

Went up to my local boots a little while ago hoping to get some of the philosophy Xmas gift sets, sadly they are still only half price, sa didn't think they'd be reduced any further so bought one anyway. Lots of the s and g tins and gok vanity cases, few other hello kitty stuff, not much left really....BTW this was st albans store. Hth xBusy mum to 3 gorgeous girls0

I've stopped going to the Boots in Milton Keynes 75% sale. Every year they let a guy come in and buy up whole shelves of stuff in one go. If you go to take something off the shelf the Boots staff actually tell you that it has been purchased by this guy! He has a huge trolly and gets the staff to load it up. It makes me so angry. There should be a limit to how much you can buy one one day.0
