Although it was CRAZY (one family had a LOT) it wasn't rude and people still said excuse me when passing in the cramped aisles. We did all get shouted at by an old lady who said we were all greedy and she comes into Boots every morning at that time (no idea what relevance that was).

You always get one... we did this morning... she was mooching around the aisles slowly with an empty trolly with an empty expression.. getting in the way. We were all very civilised though!!

Everyone else (and there was a lot of people) had the blue bags filling them up, squeezing past, saying excuse me and being friendly. :rotfl:

Went to a retail park next to Trafford Centre at 9am and bought £100 worth of stuff there. Shelves were cleared in literally 3 mins. Then I went over to the Trafford Centre and met my wife there at 9.45 and the queue was pretty big at that point. The doors opened at 10 am and people just ran. It was absolute carnage!!! Managed to spend another £220 so in total we got almost £1300 worth of stock. There is nothing left now!!!

OOOO goody! I opened the sanctuary box (the red/orange one) to smell the goodies inside (all smell lush incase anyone is thinking of getting one!) they all have the open lid with a 12m symbol.. so looks like they might not make it til next christmas...perfect excuse to keep them all for myself

went to coventry central six thought it opened at 8.30 but it was at 9am so had a bit of a wait but was worth it only about 20 people waiting outside everyone was quite polite managed to get 3 minnie mouse hair straighteners for £3 each, after a kind member of staff looked everywhere for a price on leaving she said we found a price they originally £18 bargain!!! spent £30 saved £110 wish i had read about the shots and sweets though oh well x look forward to next year lol x

Lol! Think I'd better check the miniature perfumes to see what they smell like. Nice prezzie for Valentines Day to myself from my hubby!

I am so glad I didn't bother with the 50% sale this year as I got NEARLY everything in the 75% sale this year.

Yesterday I stalked out my store to see what was where and how many of each etc. The result was that I only missed out on ONE £25 Sanctuary set (the cream case one) but I can live with that !

Some people were doing SERIOUS spending - we are talking huge trollies of stuff but it was all very good natured and pleasant.

Shelves were being cleared very quickly so unless they restock it will be a case of when it's gone it's gone.
