Boots 1/2 Price Sale

Just been to Watford, not much at Waterfields but the Harlequin still has quite a lot on the shelves and some stuff still piled up in cages at the ends of the rows. Got some great bargains, didn't know about the 75% sale before going and was only using Boots as a walk-thru, but happy that I already have lots of stocking fillers ready for next year
Also neither store was to busy either.0 -

The SA's were bringing trolleys / crates out all the time, with different things on! Wish I could have stayed longer, but would probably still have been there at closing!
Bramley has lots of Ladies Perfume Sets (were £20, now £5) but nothing else, and Kirkstall has very little of anything!0 -
High wycombe store
Just got back (arrived at ten past 9).. shop was meant to open at 8.45 so quite busy when I got there...
Lots of sancturary gift sets (the £25 red/orange box & the red case for £25) both at £6.25 now (I got one of each)
I also got a royal jelly gift set for my OH's nan (next xmas) for £4 (down from £16)
Also got a photo snow globe that my ds wanted (he has a thing for snow globes lol!) down from £6 to £1.50
Some mugs left/gardening sets/strictly/big sanctuary boxes/bags/royal jelly sets, hello kitty, some christmas cards although none took my fancy, and loads of photo stuff.
No toys/fragrance sets...
Probably was worth it as really wanted a couple of the sancturary bits... couldn't believe some of the women in there, they were spending £150-£300 at the checkout, and to be fair, a lot of it was tat that clearly noone wanted! Some said they were stocking up for next xmas which is fair enough, some were just plain greedy grabbing as much as they could like packs of wolves, and some were ovbiously hoping to make some ££ on ebay. Think boots should limit items to 3 per customer per item, so everyone can have their chance to grab a bargain, however clearly wouldnt work as people were buying as much as they could fit into their bags and then getting friends to mind their bags while they went in for more..
tempted to go back later to get 2 more sancturary sets but I am going to try and resist temptation... lol0 -
Meant to say that although Kirkstall didn't have much of anything, they did have quite a few Soap & Glory Sets! (not my thing, so forgot to mention!)makinprogress0

would of had more if they had it to be honest !

Then back home to bed. Kids are at mums. Just looking mens buts and pieces and toys to finish Christmas shopping !! Is it worth it ??? We'll see. I have brought the receipts from the boxing day sale so if anything is further reduced I'll take it back today on the higher receipts !!
Good luck to everyone.
Ps sandra Scarlett are you heading out today - miss your updates !! Hope your well[/QUOTE]
No sweetie, I am saving my money and staying indoors.I used to have about 20 plus could-be-Boots-ish gifts to buy each year for friends, (Birthdays and Christmas) but most of the recipients and I mutually decided to go out for a meal instead (naturally, 2 for 1!).
I am sitting here in awe, reading your plans, and wish you Good Luck!

Anyone been to any of the Glasgow stores?
Last week St Enochs centre has loads left so hoping they'll be stuff left when I go after work.0 -
If this thread is going to be merged, could the title be changed to 75% sale perhaps? If the other thread hadn't been there this morning I wouldn't have checked it and I don't suppose I'm the only one.0
