Do you think this is unreasonable P&P?

Seller has charged £1.30 on top of the price to post on an item wrapped in a bin liner and sealed with parcel tape. I'm tempted to mark down the P&P to 2 stars but I feel a bit bad

I parcel goods in black bin bags or used carrier bags, its waterproof and much stronger than wrapping in brown paper. if its large and I can't put it in a plastic postage bag. Black bags have to be bought! I have to travel by car to the post office and pay for parking so this is all reflected in the price. Think about how much it costs to post a card 1st class. Is £1.30 really a lot to pay?:rotfl: l love this site!! :rotfl:0

I assume the OP is not psychic and not able to know the weight and price of postage of an item just by a picture and a description. If you are able to do this a suggest a job in the carnival could be a good career move'The More I know about people the Better I like my Dog'

I fail to see why that matters at all.
Buyer can see price of item and of postage.
If happy makes bid/purchase.
If unhappy does not make bid/purchase and looks elsewhere.
Perhaps a job as a comedian would be good for you. On second thoughts........0 -

should the P&P costs not reflect the cost of postage plus the cost of packing? perhaps a foolish assumption on my part0 -
According to ebay yes.
But what does it matter to the buyer?
£10 item plus £1 postage - £11
Same item for £1 plus £10 postage - £11
I dont see what the problem is.0 -
lol I didn't start the thread to start an argument.
I'm not overly bothered about £1.30 on top of the postage paid nor am i bothered that it was sent in a bin liner, I've done that myself for larger items however my questions really is, where is the justification of adding £1.30 on? And in this case is it fair?
If that's justifiable then I might as well start doing it myself instead of the 20 or so pence that I add onto the price of the stamp unless additional packing is necessary and pass on the cost.0
