Pretty sure it was after 1 week. I have watched the USA and Australian Biggest Loser versions many times and they often have massive weight losses the first week, then the second week loss is much less.

The UK version is much shorter and gives far less prizes, but some of the things they make the US and Aus competitors do look like torture

OMG is this right, 1-2 stones in one week........!

Yeah they lose between 1-2 stone regularly in the first week esp on USA version - big change for them, training 6 hours a day, small portions etc. One guy said his meals were big enough for 4 people, so if he just eats a normal portion he'll lose loads

Weigh in tonight, not looking forward to that and not expecting any weight loss. However, 2 payments from topcashback into my account this morning, one for me and one for my husband (which I sorted anyway so its being counted towards my 2k). So total increased in one day by £89.80

Mr B, just wondering if it would be easier if we were to tell you our running total rather than how much its increased by. Thought it might make updating the spreadsheet a bit easier for you. Many thanks for all your efforts on that and good luck with your own weight loss and debt reduction.

Also they are doing all that work carrying an extra 20 stone. You'd lose a whole lot if you carried that weight around with you all the time.

  • Right here I go
Getting off a stop earlier to and from work, not only is it saving 50p a week in train fares but I am also getting up to an extra mile of exercise in.
I have sold 4 books on greenmetropolis since crimbo eve! Sent 2 out so far, minus the postage I have made myself £1 so I am off to a flying starting :) only 11 more to go.
Also waiting on £120 from topcashback to clear, which should be soon so that will be a big chuck off my target.
Put the wheel in motion yesterday to declutter my house and sell thing on ebay/amazon etc. So far I have about £45-£50 worth in old mobiles that need to be sent away.
In the middle of researching the cheapest deals to try get my household bills down (phone, sky, broadband, elec, insurances) so that should save a few bob each month.
And finally managed to get a 0% interest credit card yesterday which I am going to use to pay off ALL my stores cards then bank the interest I am saving.

I should have done this ages ago but at least I am doing it now!
Free stuff is GOOD stuff :p

Just weighed myself, having done half a dozen star jumps and jogged on the spot for two minutes at about 5 this morning, and found my weight is down again!

However as this wasn't my normal weighing time it could just be a blip so I'm saving posting a total for a couple of days.

Encouraging though. Might even do some more star jumps tonight. :D

Money - added 25p to my clubcard from a couple of stray receipts. Every little helps. :D

  • Last few nights I've been getting the train a few stops further from home so I've got further to walk - managed 7 miles last night.

Not had a lunchbreak today so got no lunch calories to burn off (grabbed a couple of snackajacks on the go and running on coffe now) so I'm going straight home (1.8 miles).

I can't get the train anywhere anyway as service is suspended cos of a tree on the line. Getting so fed up of telling that to customers I'm now resorting to seeing how many different ways I can phrase that information :D
