Mikey, leave it out. You keep ruining threads by grabbing hold of something and shakeing it like a dog with a bone. Such odd behaviour. Must have something to prove.

You're the common factor. Stop Keyboard Warrioring.

You did say "must go....", although reading it back it wasn't quite the "I'm bored, so I'm off" type response I read into it, so apologies.

Yeah that's common on MSE. People half read a post and react to what they think they've read. I blame the National Curriculum.

Nah, I only tend to bite other warriors.

Have you noticed that all the usernames Nev mentioned all have blokes names in them somewhere.

    Strange that....

Now as you're just shouting, and repeating yourself, I'll direct you to who actually wrote post #116 and #117.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic Combo Breaker
In 2006 I had a 1986 Ford Fiesta in white that I'd paid £200 for.

After a few months, it developed a fault whereby it would stall if revs were below about 1000 and could take some effort to restart. So the following tricks were employed:

    - When driving at speed, occasionally coast for a while and then bump start on the go.
    - When stopping at a junction, pull the manual choke out until stationary, then pop it back in and continually pump the accelerator until it's time to move again.
    - Use the handbrake much more than one normally would.

It tied me over for the 6 months it took to relocate 200 miles (motorway driving really was no problem at all)... I eventually abandoned it in a private carpark so that I could collect a replacement car bought from eBay. Then it was just a phonecall to a scrap merchant who collected it for quits in return for the parts.
