I'm single and it took me quite a while to get to this point of being ok with everything and loving and enjoying life again - it was also the exercise in the fresh air that really helped. Who would have thought a run would make so much difference - believe me it did from the moment I started!

Fabwise not too much to report apart from usual skincare routine of course and loving the C = Concealer as I also would not be without it!

Well I did get a lot of fabulous comments today about my weightloss with a friend saying I looked great and fab - so much so it inspired her and another collegue to join the same diet plan as me and hoping to make the changes I did. I hope they do and I hope they stick to it too.

What else, I took my measurements today and have lost another half inch from my chest and waist meaning I now finally have the 30" waist I dreamt of on a very hard run in the summer and kept going thinking about this! And at last I've got there! Even though the waist to hip measuring ratio says its still too high - but tough. I've lost 4" from my waist and there can't be more than another inch to lose from there and 6.5" from my hips.

So really the moral is slow and steady wins the race. Any weight loss is great and there's a lot on here at the moment so stick at it and we are fabulous! Not because we're thin but because we are fabulous!

:DMove over Darcey Bussell there is a new Prima Ballerina in town :D

Ok, if I am honest, I was a bit more heffalump than dancer but I gave it my all at my ballet class and had a fun time. It was a bit like that episode of Friends where Joey is expected to dance and the guy goes through the moves really fast :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Anyway I got my first compliment for ages today! I was told that I was glowing and had my sparkle back :j So lovely that someone could see from the outside how I am feeling on the inside :D

I woul love to be fabbing myself right now - I fancy an indulgent shower with some fancy shower gel and super conditioner and then slathering on some yummy Gok body butter - but I have a taxi run to do for Boy1 so am watching One Born Every Minute and waiting to go out in the cold!! :(

I'll have to steel myself to get up early and have a quickie - shower that is!

I do have my favourite Colourful Cardie on so that will have to be my fabbyness for now!

For anyone looking for outfit ideas, this page caught my eye

There's a few bit there I could quite fancy! I like those coloured chinos but not sure how they'd look on legs that are a bit shorted and wider than the models!!

    Right,think that's my taxi call!

    Good evening ladies,
Guess who forget her wedding anniversary today :o yep look no further!! Managed to redeem myself before O/H realised.

Hey ((Pod)) how are you, I hope today was a positive day for you?
How is the book coming along? Is the choir preparing for an Easter concert?
Well done Prepareathome for taking the plunge and joining the WI and SW...did LL cover confidence you seem to be gaining it:)
Lizzie, so pleased to see you moving on up:A
Willow, if a dress works for you then go with it, there are so many lovely different designs in tights these days! Can't wait to hear about your bargains.

Rummer, a glowing, sparkling ballet dancer what a confidence boast :)

Wow Sparkles, the incredible shrinking woman, your achievments are inspiring. Keep up the good work.

Adelight, thanks for the caffeine tip, now I can utilise my coffee grounds, very MSE. And Evilsquid I agree with the processed foods, since cut mine down by 95% my blood pressure is almost back to normal :D

I could not apply my eye make without a magnified mirror, yes it can be scary at first :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I have dreadful sacs under my eyes so maybe time to invest in a concealer?

LL, I hope you enjoyed your paper free day :rotfl::rotfl:your contribution to the planet for a day ;);)

Tru, how is your hip these days, better I hope? How's business?
Are you still on that strike :rotfl::rotfl:

I have a busy day tomorrow so I'm going to try and get some sleep. ;)

C is also for Colourant - roots done and looking Light Natural Brown all over, rather than 2 tone brown n grey! Well actually Mid Brown as it always comes out way darker than the box or name suggest. I've tried various brands and they all come out much darker:(. The next lightest down the scale is Darkest Blonde, but am reluctant to try it as I want really want a nice natural-looking light brown not blonde. Has anyone else actually managed to achieve light brown with a regular permanent colour?

Fabbing is continuing at the same low-key level, but I'm looking more groomed than a week or 2 ago. I really need a trip to town to get some new casual clothes as some of my stuff is falling to bits - can't manage it for a week or so due to omnipresent small folk, but will do a bit of online window-shopping instead!
  • C is for COMPLETE! just finished my assingment at long last, hand in day tomorrow, so let the fabbing commence! my fab for tonight is now a big cuppa and then bed!

    Night all!

Now I don't know about a light brown but I find with Boots own brand dark brown dye it seems to fade to a mid brown after only a couple of washes, dunno if the lighter browns will do something like this?

My hip is much better, thanks  Just the odd twinge now and then, no pain at all. My next aim is to able to do the splits again, I'm nowhere near ATM but I'll get there eventually :D

Business is...........not! Everything's for sale, but hardly anyone's buying. I sell the odd card now and then, but that's it. I'm going through it all this month, it needs a revamp.

I'm not on strike anymore :D Bit difficult to justify doing nothing when you no longer have a job :rotfl: Losing a job isn't funny really, but this one kinda is because of the lies, the jealousy, the narcissism and the patheticness of it all :D

I'm still fabbing, just not posting for a while.
