I've managed to find a proper slimming world group in the suburbs so I'm off to rejoin and buy a countdown at 7pm :) I'm expecting a shock at WI.

my previous group was in the city centre and mainly consisted of people coming in on a lunch hour, getting weighed and going back to work so the actual group stage was non-existent. not surprisingly i lasted three weeks lost 1 pound then gained 1.5 and gave up!

i'll have a nice fabbing bath when i get back. I've a feeling ill need it :rotfl:

Is it just me, or does anyone else loathe this task? I kid you not, I'd sooner scrub the loo than defuzz my legs!

Lone wolf, im with you. Hate it! Im 5ft 8 with long legs that take forever to get lovely and smooth. I tackled mine today, hubby says its like sleeping next to a wookie!! :D

Lovely shower, hair washed and deep conditioned. De-fuzzed all over;)

Body lathered in Jurgens moisturising shea butter. Eyebrows tweezed and shaped and spritz of buttercream scented spray.

    I smell like a walking cupcake. (Yummy!!):rotfl:

    Hi everyone
Well there was a well stocked biscuit tin at work today so I am going to make sure that I have some chewing gum with me tomorrow. If I'm chewing gum then hopefully I won't want to eat biscuits. That's the plan anyway.
Well done LameWolf you did make me laugh. It is a chore defuzzing isn't it?

lamewolf, could you stand to epilate or wax? :D i actually don't mind shaving my legs, i have one of those fancy razors that rocks and turns so i can do all my shaving in the 3 minutes my conditioner takes to work and never cut myself :j

heebiejeebies thanks for reminding me, i LOVE the biggest loser! it's incredible what they achieve on and after the show. bless angie, hope the new trainer does her proud.

willow92 you can make your own pore strips by mixing gelatine with a little water and spreading it on your face. you can place a little piece of cloth on top of it to make it easier to peel off once dry. i read somewhere that at one spa the staff have little sachets of powder to mix with water to make a peel off pore cleansing face mask and it turned out the powder was just gelatine!

prepareathome, youtube or the long hair community forums? what about side plaits? they look lovely and are very fashionable right now and it gives you a chance to try out new plait techniques where you can actually see your hair.

tink1981 remember to store all your perfume and oils somewhere dark and cool so they stay good longer.

((hugs)) LW, LL & molly41and everyone who's having a pants day.

evilsquidi'm going to try that lastminute.com trick for me & OH! are the hotels really cheap that way?
have you or OH tried contacting companies directly for paid/unpaid work experience? my OH struggled getting a job relevant to his science degree (geology/physics) and was stuck building etc, he wrote to 20+ companies and within a month one offered him low paid temp work in their labs which eventually turned into a permanent job and they're paying for his professional qualifications.

There is so much going on in the thread, I keep reading a post and wanting to reply then getting distracted by another! It's good to see everyone so positive and fabbing away.
My day has been very un-fab so far thanks to the weather, but tonight I will dry body brush, have a bath, do my carole maggio massage and list some more stuff on ebay. Everything I listed on ebay so far has watchers and bids so fingers crossed I can add to my masters fund soon.

A few fab tips to add to the Bs:
Body Brush: Home Bargains have body brushes, loofah mitts, back straps and muslin cloths in all for under 99p. Total bargain!
Body Oil: If you get "pimply" arms, add a few drops of tea tree essential oil to your body oil before applying. If you get bitten by bugs a lot, add lavender. For anti-ageing, add rosehip.

Did my shred and had my shower, and soon itll be time to go to bed (sugar withdrawal headache, but we're on day 3!)
Hard to do my legs atm as i have a nice dermatits rash that flares and itches all the time. But the daily showers seems to be helping.
Going to be naughty and get ome hair dye off ebay, I think a nice deep purple this time
