    'Lo again

Callisto, that dress sure is FAB! Definately yes to a little vest. I have some I got in BHS that have a little lace insert so they look pretty as well as protecting your modesty!:)

Maman, funnily enough I did have soup for lunch today. Only tinned as is part of campaign to get ds2 to eat more but it was a veggie one so hope that'll count. I did also grab a handful of grapes instead of raiding the biscuit tin so bonus points for me!:T

    Happy new year fab-ers
I've done lots of cleaning and uni work today but also some fabbing. I did my Carole Maggio dvd, washed my makeup brushes, had a nice long bath and have been going through all my toiletries. I have far too many, a wicker suitcase(60x45x30cm) and the box my slow cooker came in which are both full and the top of my dresser is covered in all my everyday products... and I have a huge cardboard box at my parents house  I'm officially banned from buying anymore shampoo, hair styling products, soap, bubble bath, body oil and face masks. I probably have a years worth of all of them so no more of anything until I'm on the last bottle and really need it.
I also have far too much perfume, around 20 big 50/100ml EDP bottles which are carefully stored and mostly at least half full. I'm contemplating selling a few Chanel, Dior etc ones on ebay as people pay a lot for them and I could make a couple of hundred quid, but then I know they will get used eventually and I love them all so much I'd want to buy them again!

A few fab goals for this week:
    • carole maggio dvd twice
    • bubble bath with a face mask
    • bodyrock three times
    • go through my makeup and put some foundations and sealed mac stuff on ebay, i need the money more than i need a sack of foundations that break me out and limited edition lipglosses i'm never going to use!
callisto that dress is lovely. could you hold it in place with tape?
fedupandsknit have a look through the workouts on https://www.bodyrock.tv they're 4-20 minutes long and are very intense, perfect for busy mornings.
LL the businesses sound very exciting, please keep us up to date on your beauty therapy plans. I would love to be a therapist and take a few courses at some point, of course it will have to be after I finish my maths degree and have a job to support it as a hobby :o

Thinking of what I would like to achieve on the Fab front.
This made me think what I have achieved in the last thread:

    1. Daily morning routine of cleanse, tone and moisturise. This has made a huge difference and now have far fewer spots and blemishes.
    2. Pampering showers where I wash, condition hair and use a face pack. This has be made easier by the installation of a wet room.
    3. I have thrown out my joggers and have revamped my wardrobe. I have invested in some new clothes and boots and very much enjoy putting together my clothes for the day.
    4. I have been having regular manicures, hair cut and colours and eye lash colour.
    5. I am seeing an Osteopath weekly and she has made an amazing difference to my back pain and shoulders.
    6. I have purchased mineral make-up and nail polish.
    7. I have added colour to my home by the use of cheap soft furnishing.
    8. Attended quilting course with the WI.

What I would like to do more of:
    1. Instigate an evening routine - difficult as Im usually fit to drop.
    2. Body brushing and moisturising of body.
    3. Continue to enjoy wearing nicely co-ordinated clothes. I still do year for my joggers on bad days.
    Look for a summer wardrobe.
    4. Practice make-up and manicures at home now I have the products.
    5. Continue with Osteopathy.
Prepare home made and nutritious meals that nurture my body and soul
    6. Join the WI and attend courses as planned.
    7. Investigate and lobby for my operation.

There it is down on paper now.
Good luck everyone with your goals and aspirations. I look forward to reading about your progress x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Hi, just a couple of things - first, great thread - what a lovely lot you are and so inspiring. LameWolf, you really moved me with your post, I also thought you sounded really positive and confident, didn't think it perhaps took you a while to get your post 'right'. Anyway, I love reading your posts, you are so articulate.

My fabbing hint is that I have started putting baby oil on my feet in the shower. Although most of it gets rubbed off when you dry, enough stays on, and you'll notice a difference quite quickly. I gave up trying to moisturise my feet after shower as I always ended up dangling my feet over the bed to let it absorb (time!!) or putting socks on over it which felt a bit yuk.
  • Wow, loving the day zero site. I am defo gonna sign up. I have been thinking about doing a long distance pilgrimage walk called the St James Way which ends in Santiago de compostella in Spain. I am mega unfit though and will need to really get going.

    http://www.playweightwatchers.co.uk/

Now I'm not a weightwatchers fan - I actually do the rival diet (SW) but I just saw their new advert on the telly and thought it was ideal for us all - its doesn't mention weight loss (as far as I can tell) but its all about bettering yourself and being FAB.
Aleisha Dixon is in it at the end (and its her song) but its full of real women (and a few men) that have transformed themselves.
Listen to the words of the song - quite apt!
