Hi,
sorry you are having troubles again LL, and I too won't get started about the government and their welfare system as I'd be here all day, suffice to say they really don't have a clue how hard it is for people to cope without the vast wealth that they enjoy to fall back on. I'm hoping you manage to get something out of them - fingers and everything else crossed. x
WW- wow go you you certainly have gone from strength to strength on the social front. It's just not happening for me everything I look at is either too far away, too costly or just not suitable in some way. There must be something going on in my area surely I just can't seem to find it.
LW- Lucy's gorgeous. My dog is just the same with chews:)
Fedupandskint- hope you are feeling better and to anyone else who's under the weather have a hug.

Morning!
Deffo feeling better at last. Woke up at dawn, got up , had breakfast, showered and dressed then took Mr Dog out for a nice long walk in the bracing breeze and sunshine. Washing out on the line drying in the breeze.
Next thing is a morning on the assignment for a couple of hours then a break for a couple of hours to do a bit of cleaning and tidying then back to it this afternoon and if I feel up to it another long walk but that'll depend upon how much work I get done todayfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
I'm back.
had to take doggies a walk - looking after dog no: 2 again today.
Adelight- thinking of you.
Went to physio yesterday she's given me some more exercises to do as she thinks I've strengthened shoulder enough but need to stretch the surrounding muscles as they're very tight. She suggested massage which I've had a go at myself but think I'd benefit from having it done properly. It's not available on NHS though so might use a bit of any money I'm given for my birthday next week for one. Also check up for my finger which I now have to leave unstrapped as much as possible, quite scary seeing as I've managed to catch it loads while it's been strapped:eek::eek:. Have been given more exercises to stretch it but have still not to force it so wish me luck on that cos I'm a bit clumsy atm.:rotfl:
Just one more assignment to go on my OU course - but I've signed up for creative writing for my next module.
Saw the friend who I was polite but distant with on the bus again (not the one who's been unsupportive over the DWP stuff- the one who just dropped me and I don't know why). She didn't even look at me this time but hey it's her loss. When I think of the number of people who have let me down it's hard not to think that maybe it is something to do with me, but I'm not going to dwell on it. Hopefully in the near future I'll find something to join which isn't going to break the bank and doesn't need 2 buses to get to. Have been busy the last few weeks with DWP problems, medical appointments, assignments etc, thought I'd got a slower week but it's filling up already. Got welfare rights appointment re OH's ESA appeal ( Fri), son's footie match and meal out for birthday so must make some time to do my nails and have a pamper.
Have a good weekendFrump to Fab - Solstice Sizzler

Just a quick question....
Which moisturiser/day cream do you use on your face?
I'm almost at the end of my Garnier Ultralift which I do like but wondered if anyone had a suggestion for an alternative, preferably for less than £10.
I'm 40, have normal/combination skin and thats not particularly sensitive and would like a facelift/botox in a bottle please!:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Afternoon everyone, and Happy Bank Holiday Weekend
I've been very tired this week. Saw my GP who says my iron levels are in normal range for now so I don't need to go back on the tablets :j But joint pain is now bad enough for prescribed painkillersStill, now that my hospital stay has taught me to take painkillers as you're only given them for a good reason I agreed to have some. Bit of a mental adjustment though as its probably a sign that my days of only having wee twinges are over for good.
I've been reading and not posting this week, so can I send (((hugs))) to everyone having hassle with officialdom, health etc. Perhaps the election results will give The Ones In Charge some food for thought.Hello folks,
I have not posted for awhile as I am really finding the "frump" to "fab" a difficult task. However, sometimes from reading your posts (thanks) and thinking about what is "uplifting," I obtain clues. Today will try and motivate myself to go out for awhile as I always feel better afterwards. Good Luck with your day etc.
Dannie, glad reading the posts is helpful. Feel free to post questions if there's anything specific that folks can help you with. For me its elbows that are hard - bloomin' psoriasis  Any magic solutions greatly appreciated there.
Someone posted about ordering a graduation gown - sorry, can't remember who. Just wanted to say in my experience the gown company always brings a few extras so just make your best guess on size. Also they are quite loose fitting, and tend to flap around in the slightest breeze. Best tip is - pick up your gown as soon as its available - that way there's more room for the company to swap if necessary.
On the fabbing front I'm off to do my nails.
Have a great weekend.

i use the liz earle skin repair. its over the £10 mark but lasts ages and does a variety of ones for different skin types. i have the light/normal ones for day and dry for night. the superskin is much more expensive but is probably better for mature skin.0 -

Good Afternoon Ladies
In a tearing hurry so this will have to be a quickie. Have spent most of the day cleaning my health hazard of a kitchen - even did the oven - my least favourite job in all the world.
I now have to clean myself and get ready to see OH tonight.
Everhopeful - don't apologise for being upset about your hair - it's very disheartening when hairdressers muck it up because it takes ages for it to grow long enough to have it put right.
My hair is dreadful at the moment - even my hairdresser commented on how whispy and fragile it had become. She said it was stress induced.
Re the psoriasis on the elbows - have you tried sudocreme - yes the one you put on babies' bottoms. I had a patch of excema on my knee and it worked quite well. I also use Hydrocortizone when necessary - just the one you can buy over the counter. HC45 I think it's called.
WW - you are really quite the little socialite these days.:rotfl: Good for you.
Lizzie - glad to hear your shoulder is a bit easier.
Anyway a big Hi to everyone, hugs to those who need them. I really must dash now.
Dannie - we start with the letter "T" next week. Monday's theme will be especially pertinent to you.0
