Well done on the weight loss Sparkles. That is excellent news, its wonderful actually being able to see and feel the results of all the hard work. :j:j
Adelight, congratulations on your exam results. That is absolutely brilliant news. Hope you had a bit of a celebration last night.
Podperson, no I havent mentioned what I do before. I'm actually a bit shy about it, as its all still very new and I'm not sure if its any good or not yet. In my free time, mess around with pewter and create pictures or decorative pieces. I use sheet pewter. I don't want to put the website up here. I don't think its actually allowed.
Thanks everyone for the concern about my pipes, they seem to have been fixed.:T I live in a massive apartment block, so I presume everyone had the same problem and something was done about it. Thank goodness, I was dreading getting subways everyday to friends places to take a shower.
I hope everyone has a fabulous Saturday. My day has been spent relaxing, enjoying my own company and generally just having a bit of a lay in. It is great after my travels, where I was up and out of the hostel by 9am every day, and then straight back into work when I got back.
LL - my family live very close to Matlock, that really is a lovely little village. Sorry the dealer wasn't interested in your books, but like you say, you still have a few other avenues to explore.0 -
Thank you - maybe I'll feel equal to joining in a bit eventually, but not just now.:o
Brilliant to see you still with us - lurking is better than disappearing all together. We're here whenever you're ready to launch yourself back with us.
Managed a few little things last night - a defuzz, bath and a better sleep for once. Already taken the dog to the park - its freeeezzzzzing! We're forecast snow today so will pop out to the shops this morning and do the weekly shop to make sure I'm stocked up just in case.
Later today I will have another bath and do a face scrub, paint my toenails and find a nice warm outfit to wear. Lots of rugby on the telly today so will stay in apart from dog walking and hibernate a bit and try to relax after the bonkers week I've had.
The house needs some fabbing too - just the weekly big clean but it always makes me feel better when everything is nice and sparkly clean.
Right better get myself out of the very glam dogwalking outfit I'm currently sporting - thermal everything - sexy!!!0 -

I tried it this morning. I was a bit skeptical TBH but I have to say my hair looks and feels lovely and its blow dried really nice. Wouldnt work for heavily structured styles I think as its nice and soft but its worked well for my bobbed hair :T

I'm having a lazy morning after my hectic week. I've had my shower, all slathered (including my feet) and I'm here waiting for my hair to dry off a bit before styling it. I always do this when I have time to cut down on the amount of heat I use on it.
I have a question to ask about OCM: basically, how does it work? I did it again this morning. What I want to know is what each part does so it will help me to do itproperly. So I steam my face to open the pores. Then I massage in the oil. What's that bit for? and does it matter for how long? Then I clean it off. I've been wiping with a fairly rough facecloth but should I be steaming again? I know some of you are really clued up on beauty treatments so help please!!
Off to dry hair, back soon.0 -

oohh ill definitely try it now! DH has gone off airsofting for the day and all my magazine subscriptions have popped through the door so i might have a nice long soak later on. I'm expecting them to walk trough the door early though, where they're going was forecast the snow and last night him and his friend were moaning that its forecast to be -3 and threatening that the second they see a snowflake there coming home.0 -

I am in West Mids, we had about 10 weedy flakes and it's stopped.
ETA it is now snowing, fine flakes
Makes me laugh, our freezing temps are headline news and yet in Siberia and the Urals I read this morning they've had -40C. Makes our -11C a bit pathetic
Trying to give myself a mini manicure. I need to start looking after my nails better, I hate seeing my cuticles so will soak hands and then push them back. Need a new nail buffer as DS destroyed my last one

Hi
Anyone recommend a good product for keeping my hair slicked down in a ponytail. Always seem to have wispy bits on top even when I blow dry it. I have tried hairspray but its still wispy. TIA xCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.
