Could you tell us more about the head phones please? Thanks
Oh, where to start.....they are like miniature speakers with covers that hoop over your head and connect to things via a wire so you can listen to things privately without disturbing others.

Yeay!
I have had condoms waved in the air by a young SA who was trying (unsuccessfully) to embarrass me, I said "excuse me, has the BOGOF come off one those two packs (of 18)?" he said "no, are you sure they're in the promotion?" I said "yes" and he held them up and waved them at his partner in crime at the next till "Phil, do you know if these flavoured ones are in the promotion?" everyone in the queue cringed in embarrassment, I just shrugged, I wasn't too bothered by it, I'm not that easily embarrassed. However I did complain about it to CS who obviously were also embarrassed (they're apparently very shy about these things in South Wales, where I was at the time) because I thought his conduct had been insensitive and could have upset me, and I wouldn't like someone else to be treated like that. The whole thing was hilarious to me though :rotfl:
Did this happen when you was a man or a woman? :rotfl:0 -

Any new product on the market to 'combat' ageing then I buy, even though I know that they probably make little or no difference. :rotfl::rotfl:
You're welcome, do it regularly and it does help. I don't buy a lot of expensive stuff, far from it, but I've always thought it must be easier to try and prevent a wrinkle than to get rid of it once it's there, so moisturising and exfoliation are brilliant and remember to do carry it on down your neck and to your cleavage. A bit of Johnson's holiday skin or similar also really perks you up at this time of the year. And a good daily multi-vitamin and mineral tablet is a must.:)Hope is not a strategy.0 -
Do it mate, people screaming out for class 1 drivers, £12 - £15 -£20 an hour.
4 weeks paid holiday, banks holidays off but always offered work, always a load waiting to be shifted.
spent 3 years as a courier in 7.5 ton lorry, got well paid every week and loads of private jobs. ( you have c1 on licence ? )
also is alot easier now with sat nav, been all over the place using just maps ( and 1st to admit got lost alot)
There is strong talk that c1 is being removed from licences even retrospectively. Whether it will actually happen or not who knows....was told it by a friend who drives a 7.5t for a living and his boss is saying if it goes through he will have to take a test.
Also the influx of east european class 1 drivers is killing the market for drivers. A mater of mine has just packed it up cos he simply cant get contracts that pay like they did 2 or 3 years ago. Still worth doing though IMO.0 -

The sheet with the coupons on has two, the one at the top is for £1 off of Persil and the one at the bottom is for 75p off of Comfort, sounds like you used the wrong one

Has anyone noticed that they have started reducing the toiletry gift sets from xmas with white SEL labels and there is also a BOGOF label up. I checked the date of the BOGOF sign and it expires sometime later in January so still in date.
In Tr'stre they had some sets marked up at full and then further down the shelf the same set half the price. (the ones I saw were packs of roses to go in bath and a floral set of hand wash/lotion but there may be more). I am not sure if they are new reductions cos I don't buy that sort of thing (am a teacher so have a permanent supply from gifts). the hand wash sets were £2 lowest price and roses were £1.50 lowest price. With BOGOF they are a very good price for pressies.
PS That was this afternoon.
PPS am gutted I paid £2.50 for the glitter lamp Wednesday eve!
