Has anyone noticed that they have started reducing the toiletry gift sets from xmas with white SEL labels and there is also a BOGOF label up. I checked the date of the BOGOF sign and it expires sometime later in January so still in date.

In Tr'stre they had some sets marked up at full and then further down the shelf the same set half the price. (the ones I saw were packs of roses to go in bath and a floral set of hand wash/lotion but there may be more). I am not sure if they are new reductions cos I don't buy that sort of thing (am a teacher so have a permanent supply from gifts). the hand wash sets were £2 lowest price and roses were £1.50 lowest price. With BOGOF they are a very good price for pressies.

    PS That was this afternoon.

PPS am gutted I paid £2.50 for the glitter lamp Wednesday eve!

    HTH someone :)

I noticed the hot water bottles in a stripy fleece cover were marked as £8 bogof but actually scanned at £4, I did wonder if the bogof would kick in, I didn't try it as didn't need any hotties :)

And Fudge - I really wouldn't worry but if that is not possible for you, then Lutzi1's post is spot on.

Fudge_Cake, if it's bothering you, go back to the store in the morning with your receipt and your shopping and say to them "I noticed this when I got home and I've no idea how it happened."

Have a laugh with them about it - you don't want to be feeling bad every time you go in the store. It was their till wot done it, and if they will try and save money by having ss tills...... You're not a criminal, as evidenced by the fact you're bothered about it. Now stop fretting about it honey and get some sleep! :smileyhea

Morning everyone, Fudge just read your last few posts and I think this is actually really good advice. If you don't feel you can go into the store without feeling like a criminal and that all eyes are watching you then go in and explain what happend and that you were in a rush and didn't notice. I am sure it will be fine ... hope you managed to get some sleep and have not spent all night worrying :o

Good evening everyone, feeling much better today, thank you. I've already caught up only took a few hours :p:o

So I've discovered you can't quote more than 3 in a post so I've quoted the first 3 people that referenced my dilemma from last night. So having read everyone's posts and wrote a list as I went....my thanks also go to midwinter, Sharon-P, Beki88 and queen of cheap :D:T I think that's it but if I've missed anyone else, my sincere appologies and thank you too!

After much deliberation I decided I had to go into my local and appologise as if I phoned CS the message would most likely not be relayed and I'd still feel like eyes were on me everytime I went, especially for a glitch! :eek:One of my fav SA's at CS phew!! Explained what happened and she disappeared for what seemed like a lifetime to talk to the checkout manager, I was so nervous :o But when she returned she said they really appreciated my honesty and as a nice gesture they'd let me have the goods on the house :T *Biggest sigh of relied ever!* So THANK YOU everyone and like you said kadison, it just didn't sit well with me at all to not appologise but that's probably because I'm a paranoid bag of nerves on a good day :p:rotfl:
