I so agree, having been a mystery shopper for over 12 years nothing phases me, I have had to go into a high street sex store and test out B.O.B's (battery operated boyfriends) on the tip of my nose, so a tiny, "can you cancel this please" is nothing to me0 -

:o
So I've discovered you can't quote more than 3 in a post so I've quoted the first 3 people that referenced my dilemma from last night. So having read everyone's posts and wrote a list as I went....my thanks also go to midwinter, Sharon-P, Beki88 and queen of cheap:T I think that's it but if I've missed anyone else, my sincere appologies and thank you too!
After much deliberation I decided I had to go into my local and appologise as if I phoned CS the message would most likely not be relayed and I'd still feel like eyes were on me everytime I went, especially for a glitch! :eek:One of my fav SA's at CS phew!! Explained what happened and she disappeared for what seemed like a lifetime to talk to the checkout manager, I was so nervousBut when she returned she said they really appreciated my honesty and as a nice gesture they'd let me have the goods on the house :T *Biggest sigh of relied ever!* So THANK YOU everyone and like you said kadison, it just didn't sit well with me at all to not appologise but that's probably because I'm a paranoid bag of nerves on a good day
:rotfl:
Excellent result, glad it all worked out ok and you are less of a bag of nerves than you were!0 -

queen of cheap- AWFUL customer service! Beggars belief some companies, not doing any service of any kind to customers!
aw, bless you :A
I am still absolutely livid with them.
I believe very firmly in karma. They will reap as they sow. Hopefully sooner rather than later!
Their response to my email this morning? Yes your refund has been processed, not confirming that it is both refunds and not offering even a hint of apology either  I am convinced that they are only doing one refund.
In which case, they will be hearing from a solicitor. And lastly....T's related : -
Charley123 - Yes thank you so so much, I did comment maybe 2 days ago and thank you on the thread but I know it's hard to keep up so it's probably got lost!! I did exactly what you said so THANK YOU again
GlassPig and west is best - The Quirks biscuits are showing at 60 something pence online for me. Could you tell me if yours are yellow stickered please? Or if they're priced at that on the SEL? TIA
Congrats on anyone getting the telescopes, microscopes and musical instruments, fabby bargains they are!!
ExTesco- You didn't ever go back and edit your post but yes the tapas are on offer and the multibuy comes off when they're reduced too. It's 5 for £9 with discount of £3.50 or 3 for £6? (not 100% on this one) so discount of £1.50.
And lastly I'd never heard of the recycling green clubcard points!! WOW! I need to research this one!
Hope I didn't miss anyone off and everyone is wellThanks again for always providing a great listening ear!

Okay epic fail. Plates SEL = £12 scans at £12.
Also thorntons toffees don't scan at £2 either! they scan at £4.50.I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0 -
Yey so pleased for you that you did the right thing (for you especially) and especially pleased it worked out in your favour!
Surprised they did not quiz you about how you got a zero balance though :P
Me too but I think they'll stop the multibuy discount on the Tapas nowDoes anyone know if they can override that instore? I really hope not! But nevertheless I'm so glad I went:)
Sorry you didn't manage any good find Beki, all of the stores I've been to recently have been immaculate!:p'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -

Got T's withdrawal symptoms as not been for a few days now as had to do a bit of work as had stacked up due to Xmas and my son breaking his arm in soft play!!! (only my son could do that!)
Anyway have to go tomorrow ( on a Saturday!!!!) as got no food for next week!
What's happened to the Glitch bar - is it still open and where is Happy?0 -
Hi all, no new finds to report here. I've been reading all your posts the past few days and am trying SO HARD to restrain myself from going to T's...part of my resolutions is to only spend on necessary things (well as far as possible, anyway:p).
And so we're going to live out the freezer and cupboards for a while...heaven knows, they're full enough to feed the UN for a month! Need to get the stockpile down a bit before I accumulate more. I just know that if I *happened to chance upon* a 1p (or 23p or 36p or or..) item while wandering down the aisles, I'd probably bring it home and as it is, I can hardly remember what's packed away under what or behind/underneath/on top of all the other stuff that's been crammed into every available space throughout the house!
So c'mon folks, find a fabulous glitch and give me an excuse to go to T's!!0
