My husband is home from hospital. He loved his curry. I am going to cwtch up with him so goodnight one and all.
Yeay!I was just glad I am too old to buy "lady products" I really wouldn't have wanted them waved in the air:rotfl:
I have had condoms waved in the air by a young SA who was trying (unsuccessfully) to embarrass me, I said "excuse me, has the BOGOF come off one those two packs (of 18)?" he said "no, are you sure they're in the promotion?" I said "yes" and he held them up and waved them at his partner in crime at the next till "Phil, do you know if these flavoured ones are in the promotion?" everyone in the queue cringed in embarrassment, I just shrugged, I wasn't too bothered by it, I'm not that easily embarrassed. However I did complain about it to CS who obviously were also embarrassed (they're apparently very shy about these things in South Wales, where I was at the time) because I thought his conduct had been insensitive and could have upset me, and I wouldn't like someone else to be treated like that. The whole thing was hilarious to me though :rotfl:Gemini_Jes wrote: »Missed the plate set...can you tell me some more please?...:):)

I offered to buy the other one for said Granny but she wasn't impressed. I'm a girl of simple tastes and thought it would be lovely as a pressie from Me to [STRIKE]You[/STRIKE] Me :rotfl:

Thank you.
No worries but I'm not the original poster of these, they've been mentioned a few times so no idea who the OP is xyou & me bothbut good news from all the blood tests its all okay so its just still the shingles virus which could be another couple of months yet doctors suggests i go away on a cruise  to convalese. May try & go on a little holiday if i can decide where to go & can last the journey
Don't forget to watch C5 10pm tonight - Celebrity wedding Planner episode One - JEDWARD, the trailer showed them trying to get an elephant :rotfl:,
Great news about the tests, may I recommend P&O cruises? Went on one 11 years ago with my mum when she was recouperating from an op and some other treatments, it was pure luxury from start to finish. But you'll put on about 3 stone a day from all the free food :rotfl:No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

One for the ironers out there so mainly Nikkilala! I've inherited the ironing board the ex bought years ago and it's a heap of carp to put it mildly. I've been saving up my survey credits and now have a tidy sum in Amazon vouchers to buy one. I have my eye on this one:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Brabantia-Ironing-Heat-Resistant-Parking-Metallic/dp/B0018A1QMM/ref=wl_it_dp_o_npd?ie=UTF8&coliid=I1Q58O2KULAL4&colid=17P9E9AYTUXA0
Any comments please? My mum hates mesh surfaces for ironing on but I'm not too worried. I just want a sturdy ironing board that is easy to use and won't need replacement felt & covers too often.0
