But the way, has ANYONE found the smints. I hate it when no one else gets em. Remember the Elizabeth shaw?! That's why I uploaded the receipt. I hope someone reports finding em soon. Was dead chuffed when I came across em!

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.

OMG  Left here earlier on page 322.... Will have to skim read to catch up.

Got to Mr T, 1p wise I managed to find 2 andrex, 1 scouring sponge, got another iron cleaning thingy for my Mum. Also got 5 packs of Dumbo balloons, and some waterbomb ballooons too, these are 20p BTW. Also picked up a box of freaky fingers.... thankfully only 1, as they scanned at 50p

Did get 4 Mr T frozen microwave meals 4 for £4 and a bag of McCain chips for £1, and used the chip 50p and Sun frozen food £1 vouchers, a 54 wash bottle of persil half price with an extra £1 off, and some whoospied veg and bread. By the time I finished I paid pennies over £10... 'At a Normal Till' carefully selecting the youngest I don't really give a monkeys student SA. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    A fairly productive shop! :j

I'm going off topic now but feel I want to share my good fortune. I haven't seen my grandchildren for about 18

months due to DS leaving his wife. I am now able to see the children and am going tomorrow with DH for our

first visit. I've been sitting around with a grin on my face and feeling so excited and yet weepy. Does that make sense?

Makes perfect sense altojack - enjoy your time with them petal :j
It's all water they lose the first week.

The 'Who We All Are' List

Bout time I put my hands up! I read this all the time, and was one of the creators of the spread sheet during DTD. I guess I should say hello!

Congratulations to Sunshine on a beautiful baby.

Hiya AngelsMadv - I remember you from the DTD thread/spreadsheet but must admit to thinking you were female

I know the first and only time I had bother was at the SS tills the SA and her supervisor said no to my coupons. I now use manned tills and never have any bother if they don't scan they use their hand scanner thingie. IIRC there is an email from Tesco HO flaoting about in the coupon thread that staes they do take coupons. BRB going to have a look.

Cheers for that. I know they're meant to take them but I wasn't sure if it was down to a particular stores discretion. I've used plenty of coupons and I remember saying before that the ones I used for the Andrex Washlets were kept out of the till drawer by the SA so I think semi-trout is now 100% trout. I reckon the issue is I print them in black & white so they look dodgy but I'm doing nothing wrong so why should I worry?

Same thing happened to me , like you I returned the items and said I would go to Asda . When I got home I emailed HO . I then got a gift card together with a letter comfirming that they do take coupons as long as the products are purchased . They were going to contact my store to make sure they understood this I carry this letter with me now .

Tempting but I'll keep under the radar and not rock the boat. I'd much rather get a satisfying DTD as recompense ;)
That is so true. I hate the inconsistency in acceptance of coupons, makes me . In fact it got so bad at one point I emailed Uncle Phil, with a link to the coupon that I was trying to use, and they told me it was fine. You want to have seen the SA's face when she refused it the next time I was and I showed her the email! Was a picture

Even CS tried to tell me that they didn't take them, but she would honour them on this occassion. Erm, if you don't accept them, why would you honour them silly trout!

Granted this was probably 3 or 4 months ago and I haven't really had any issues since, but I'm always wary when I go with my coupons.

It's just so annoying that the policy can apparently be so different from one store to the next.

I don't think I'll raise my profile at HO any further by emailing but at least I know there's a TIT (Trout In Training for those not in the know) at my local :rotfl: Haven't been able to use that acronym for a while!

I have used the persil one before without a problem (all my coupons are black and white as I do not have a colour printer). Do you have another Tesco not too far away to perhaps save your coupons for?

Yeah I have a few I can use so no harm done. I actually do have a colour printer but it's in the attic still in its box until I move somewhere permanent. Oh and I'm not wasting ink on coupons for Ts!
......now the trick is to actually live out of the freezer and stop collecting glitches for a while! :T

Now where have I heard that before. Oh yes, it was me on the phone to mum earlier saying I should live out of the freezer & cupboards for a while. Lets see how long it lasts!
    dtd_crazy wrote: »
....or get another freezer :D and keep on glitching :T

Wish I could but the only place it can go in the garage is right underneath the leak in the roof (another job ex never got sorted) so doubt that's the best idea.

And last but definately not least

:j SUNSHINESTAR101 :j Congrats hon and absolutely love the name. Very girly and sweet.

Sorry, but until you've got 10 (or perhaps 15) posts, you will not be able to post a pic or a link, but the descriptions you've given are very good - thanks for posting and welcome
