Makes perfect sense. Hope you have a wonderful day welcome to the club:)The 'Who We Are' List
altojack - Female - over 21 - Stowmarket Suffolk
Thought it was about time I joined the list too lol
I'm going off topic now but feel I want to share my good fortune. I haven't seen my grandchildren for about 18
months due to DS leaving his wife. I am now able to see the children and am going tomorrow with DH for our
first visit. I've been sitting around with a grin on my face and feeling so excited and yet weepy. Does that make sense?Number 35 :j0 -
Hello all and a
I must confess I've been lurking these past few days, as just haven't had the time to catch up. Woke up this morning to a storm of epic proportions, the neighbourhood's trashed now. Fences down everywhere, plantpots, garden furniture, roof tiles and rubbish everywhere it shouldn't be.
Our trampoline had somehow come loose from its securings and flipped over and moved halfway down the embankment. As it's chained to a tree, the weight of it lifting in the wind bent the frame and now it's definitely unusable. Not sure if we'd be able to find somewhere that can bend it back into shape. Gutted- only bought it in June.
Wasn't venturing out in that weather, so gave the buttermaking a bash- I could only find the flavoured creams reduced, so did a batch of Courvoisier butter ...lovely! I've already used some in biscotti and it tastes great. I used a Rum and Raisin cream for a strawberry fool (whoopsies too) and also did some Chrismas spice butter. Really satisfying!:D0 -
Drat, I need another piece of paper to re-write my list now as the old one is rather dog earred and crumpled, plus there's more items to be added. There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -
And a big congratulations to Sunshine on the long-awaited new arrival! She's beautiful - enjoy every second with your precious new daughter.

You have given me inspiration using flavoured cream now, I'll just have to wait for T's to reduce some more, or wait for next year. Thank you :AThere's no place like home
