    Morning all

Getting annoyed this morning at the RSPCA thanking me for supporting them for asking for yet more money and sending a big batch of horrible photos. I know they have to fundraise but they always seem so greedy, they're never satisfied! It's not as if they ask for a tenner here or there, it's always at least £90 a time, I know it goes to a worthy cause so I send the requested donations when I can but their tactics leave a LOT to be desired! Most of these letters will go to families who will be left feeling heartless because they can't afford a huge £90 just after xmas!

    OK rant over!

Is it bad to want to book a cheap TL so I can go around Mr T's in that area?

  • Doing a late shift today, so no whoopsying for me. :( Yesterday managed to get a lonely Clipper Green Tea pack for 1p and a couple of bin deodorants for the same price. Went to the bigger superstore in my area, but no Andrex to be seen. Shame, they did have it a few weeks ago when it was 25p. Oh well. ;) Have a great last day of the year, folks. Stay safe, don't drink too much, don't drink and drive!

Was in a T's yesterday on the ss happily scanning 15 packs of the 1p crisps and 3 of the candle lighters, had a couple more 1p things but was putting some normal shopping through when a security guard came up and started looking in my bags. When I asked him why,he said that he had been asked to check my shopping as I had that much reduced stuff it had flagged an alert up  He asked me where I had got the crisps, I said the crisp aisle by the reduced stuff (true) he was really nice and said thats ok, if that what the till says then asked me where abouts the lighters were as he wanted a couple :rotfl:

Do the ss tills flag up the 1p things when you put a lot through together? SA manning the ss tills wasnt watching his screens, he was busy chatting with his mate.

I have asked my friend at Tesco this before and she has said NO. It obviously shows on the staff screen in the SS area, that's why sometimes it's better to go when it is busy and they are pre-occupied - perhaps the security guard had clocked you getting the bargains and he wanted to know for himself.

One to watch I think - In the car accessory aisle at an extra, Holts foil fresh resealable screenies - green label on front with bar code ending 004467 scanned at 12p

There are interior wipes (red label on front with barcode) and these are still scanning at full price.

    morning all! :)

now all the talk about whoopsies makes me want to go for it too... right when I was intending to use up everything in the freezer and defrost it...
    must resist! must resist!

going to Ts anyway in a bit... :o Don't really need anything but in the last couple of days I was doing everything I didn't need to do just to avoid writing the stupid Uni esseys... :o got to write 4 of them and have about a week time and I HATE writing anything that's longer then 1 page  That serves me right for not doing ANYTHING since October when the semester started... :o It will be a miracle if I will get my master diploma in the summer!
Oh well, being a nanny I don't really need a Business degree do I? :rotfl:

Like Nikki it's one of the rare occasions this year that I/we spend NYE at home and not throwing/attending a wild party... Tonight we'll have roast duck in honey and oranges and posh bubbly...

Hope you all have a nice evening and a lovely New Year full of glitches and bargains! :T:T:T
Oh and that reminds me: I was soo disappointed this year that we didn't have the pre xmas code glitches like asos/la redoute/evans  last year it was amazing! I had parcels coming in everyday and my housemates couldn't understand why I 'need' all of this and how it's possible it's free or almost free :D
But I guess we all focus on Tesco so the other glitches just aren't discovered as often... Oh well, fly catchers will do I suppose! :p:p:p

I got some of the wipes for 1p this morning and loads of the Andrex - so glad I went through self service as the andrex on the go have now gone to 1p. Between 3 tesco stores this morning I managed to 'relieve' tesco of 62 of the Andrex.

I also found some illooms - have scanned dozens over the last few weeks and today I got:

    yellow and white pack - 30p - end b/code 01030

    yellow only - 15 p - end b/code 01062

    orange only - 15p - end b/code 01063

All others scanned over £3. There are two bags of orange illooms, one pack seems newer and scans at over £3, so watch the bar code.

Sorry to bump my own post, but I found another illoom pack today (for anyone wanting them for this evening):

pack of red and white balloons with stars on - 15p - end b/code 01056.

    Happy Birthday karen :D

:D Many many thanks to everyone who has offered advice & concern - I appreciate it greatly ♥ Uncertain what to do next or just to leave it as it is my 'local' & this town is 'local' & I don't want to be on a 'Wanted' list  (everyone is related if you get my drift - never talk about someone as guaranteed they will be a 2nd cousin of the person you are talking with :rotfl:)

    & I wish everyone a Happy Profitable 2012

Oh & my 'big foot' is even worse today :( can't put any weight on it - Happy New Year :rotfl:

email uncle Phil and see what comes out... most probably you'll be offered a gift card and apologies as you got your refund now and in most cases that cancels dtd
that would mean you don't argue the case in store anymore and they might 'forget' you in a few days/weeks ;)
