My extra closes at 7pm tonight, never done any woopsying and fancy tring today, so dont know when they usually reduce stuff, should I leave it till about 6pm? Guess its a silly question really as each store might decide individually when to do it!:o
Not sure but usually they reduce low in mine 2 hours before so I'm hitting between 4 -5;);)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

Well done on your fantastic haul purdita x
Think I must be looking for whoopsies at the wrong times as they never seem to go that low, only thing I managed was some prawns wrapped in filo and breadcrumbs and this was only a fluke as a one woman plague of locusts attacked the trolley the fella was working on and as soon as he priced something on the trolley she grabbed it, think he got fed up and turned and asked me is there anything I would like all he had where prawns and tripe left lol
When I was paying the SA said that there had been loads of reduced stuff going through the tills last night as it had been so quiet in the store that day.
There was hardly any fruit or veg apart from some bags of lettuce and lemons, the flowers were beyond saving, and very little on the bakery side either......yet other times I've been there's been masses of that and not much meat!
I think it's a bit hit and miss as to what you will get, but the best times to go for whoopsies I've found are definitely in the evenings......but any 1p glitches or other bargains might have all been nabbed by then!
The Morrisons near me are better around teatime and I've found some good meat reductions in the afternoons at the Co-op.
I very rarely go to Asda but I when I do, evenings are best there for whoopsies too.My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
I am thinking of doing a run today , do you think about 6pm would be good .
I'd say a wee bit earlier, about 5.30 because I have a feeling they might just bring things forward a bit tonight as it's New Years Eve;)Thanks, I'll try a bit earlier then!
...How sad am I? Im looking forward to my woopsying more than going out this evening to the pub with my OH! lol
No not sad just savvy, We're not going out and will be the first New Year we've spent on our own ever, (We've been together 19 years!) but I'm really looking forward to my whoopsie time in T'stonight, and then maybe a bit of whoopsie time later;):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Beware!!!! Happy Birthday karenMany many thanks to everyone who has offered advice & concern - I appreciate it greatly ♥ Uncertain what to do next or just to leave it as it is my 'local' & this town is 'local' & I don't want to be on a 'Wanted' list  (everyone is related if you get my drift - never talk about someone as guaranteed they will be a 2nd cousin of the person you are talking with :rotfl:)
& I wish everyone a Happy Profitable 2012
Oh & my 'big foot' is even worse todaycan't put any weight on it - Happy New Year :rotfl:
