    Hi

I wasn't try to compare, I understand everyone's circumstances are different, I was really just trying to get ideas on how to lower my monthly outgoings as I knew it was high but was shocked at the actual amount when we added it up!

One thing that has really helped us is simply writing everything down and categorising it- food, treats, wine, clothes, gifts, postage... ALL the bits. We (DH) use a computer thing called 'you need a budget'. The premise is just like 3Dogs said- it is about not exceeding the incoming money.

It is a learning curve! And remember you are not alone!! -but a HUGE well done for wanting to tackle it!! :T:T:T

...and all the bits like whoopsies and glitches help too!

When the penny items come in and the treats budget stretches VERY far it is a bit fun! :)

Please dont do the caster oil thing ur wee baby will come when its ready i have seen some awful experiences with falk with caster oil. In maternity also the midwifes have very little sympathy for this kind of thing. It may seem like a long wait at the moment but when u look back someday its just a flash in the pan if u pardon the pun!

    Ditto.

Please don't try the caster oil. It just isn't good for your body nor baby.

Your little Babs is just being fashionably late!

    Edit:

I reckon it'll be pretty soon anyhow with how much you've been doing recently!

Talk about feathering the nest instinct!

is an induction really bad??!!! must be if you would try castor oil before induction...... scared now. xx

Aww don't be scared sunshinestar, everyone's experiences are different. I was induced with DD2 and it wasn't that bad .... things moved really quickly actually, I didn't even get a chance to be moved to the labour ward, she was born on the pre-natal ward :)

I hope that you start naturally as it's what you want and that everything goes perfect for you :) x

Right.... back to catching up

Thank goodness the rain has stopped here in Belfast.

Nearly ended up in a&e last night with DS. He had decided to make some porridge for supper but thought that you put the milk into a bowl to heat up in the microwave then stirred in the oats, when he was taking the bowl out my Dad bumped into him, sent the bowl flying and the milk all over him then he shouted at him for screaming!!
The panic I felt while trying to strip him and cool his skin down at the same time and shout at my Dad to just go and do one, he hadn't realised what he'd done until an hour later even though I'd been pouring water over DS in the kitchen the whole time.

All I can say is we can't wait to get a new home so we're free to do as we please and I know that DS won't get hurt thanks to a very inatentive grandad.

You must have sent the rain east as it's only just finished here along the coast.

Hope your DS is ok. Mine decided he didn't like his dinner last night but I thought he was just faffing so 'persuaded' him (aka threat of no Cars or Toy Story) to eat some more. A few minutes later he showed me his appreciation! So I had DS2 screaming in his bouncy chair wanting dinner, DS1 screaming in the kitchen as he was covered in puke and me running between the two.

Wool27 - I dread to think what it will cost me to move. There's only me and two young 'uns and only some of the furniture will be going (whatever the ex owns is staying) but it will take the biggest van they have to move my stuff! The garage is full, the attic is jam packed and the spare room resembles Ts warehouse! It would take me a good couple of years to run down the toiletries and household stuff and I'm not staying here to do that :p

I tried running the freezer down recently but whoopsies get the better of me. I mean, how can I leave 2 10p ready meals for DS just sitting on the RTC shelf or the packs of chicken which they were going to waste that I persuaded them to get the reduced stickers for (40p/pack plus a nice multisave came off)? I'd love to get the slow cooker out and start using up the whoopsies but there's no room in the freezer to store the cooked up meals as for every space I gain by taking out meat, I need 2 for the finished meals themselves.

Someone posted yesterday about the Andrex on the go were down to 6p from 25p too, wonder if there's any pattern here? Could be worth checking things again if there are further reductions going on...

Probably not a pattern at all - that would be too easy!:)
