Also got my Cilit Bang soap dispenser thingy this morning
And my copy of the The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
DD has gone for a nap so I'm gonna head back to bed and have a read of that...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Remember those Lindam bed guards that were about a while back, has anyone else actually put them together?!
Me and OH were there for 45 minutes trying to get it together properly and there may have been some shouting and sweary words :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:The bedguards were a nightmare, think they caused a few bloodblisters!!!
I bought one a couple of years ago - thought I'd got a bargain at the time - 75% off in wilkos sale :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Ended up in tears of frustration trying to put the d*mn thing together for about an hour then OH came in an put it together in a couple of clicks grrrrrrr:mad:0 -
Thank goodness the rain has stopped here in Belfast.
Nearly ended up in a&e last night with DS. He had decided to make some porridge for supper but thought that you put the milk into a bowl to heat up in the microwave then stirred in the oats, when he was taking the bowl out my Dad bumped into him, sent the bowl flying and the milk all over him then he shouted at him for screaming!!
The panic I felt while trying to strip him and cool his skin down at the same time and shout at my Dad to just go and do one, he hadn't realised what he'd done until an hour later even though I'd been pouring water over DS in the kitchen the whole time.
All I can say is we can't wait to get a new home so we're free to do as we please and I know that DS won't get hurt thanks to a very inatentive grandad.SPC #329 £471/£500 banked

Good morning one and all
Must correct myself re the sizing of the tickets in mr t being a little misleading. I have checked and there is no law against it, only time font sizes have rules is when there is a reference to any type of credit.
Regarding everyones budgets, i tread carefully when i say that if i only had to pay a rent excess then we would be sooooo much better off. As it stands our mortgage alone is just over 1k and council tax £210.
I am not judging people as i dont know circumstances, so dont anyone shout, but its hardly a fair comparison for katierose (i think) to think her outgoings are so rediculous when comparing against someone on benefits with subsidies. If she was to compare against me for instance, shes a little off but not far!
Was going to write something else but have deleted it. There is a lurker on here that has worked out who i am, he used to work for my OH and tells tales! Oh, and he never contributes either! Ashame really as i used to like confiding in cyberfriends but now feel i cant. OH wouldnt be over the moon to think i had been discussing some stuff!
I think its sad that someone is keeping tabs on you here - change your name ( or set up a new account and keep your old one too and use that to post occasionally) Make the lurker/stalker life a bit harder!!!0 -
Perhaps compare wasnt the right word. I meant you shouldnt feel bad because yours was what some consider as high. After mortgage, council tax, life insurances, car stuff, mine isnt far off, thats all!
Thanks I appreciate knowing that as thought mine was the only high one!
We are now stuck on the motorway trying to go shopping for the day as my folks gave me Xmas money, traffic going no where, baby screaming, other half grumpy! Oh what a fun day lol
Hope everyone is having a better day than me!0 -

Stretch a pair of headphones across your tummy and start playing Des O'Conner records, that should do the trick!0 -

Its not that sinister. They just have a habit of telling oh that ive been on boards all day or that hes got free lamb for tea before ive told him. Just annoying. I think oh gets a bit embarrassed as he is very senior at work. What other person doesnt know, but will now is that we are paying off serious debts due to 10 yr court battle with ex that was high 20k. Thnks to this board i will do sooner rather than later.
The problem is that i like to share some things with cyber buddies that i dont necessarily want people we know chating about. (hopefully they will get the message)!
its just annoying really. I only pop on now and again but thats my business. I keep a veyr clean and organised home, and the fridge and freezer are full...so are the cupboards and most of the garage!
On a lighter note. Had pickfords come round to do a moving quote. Everything was going fine, got to the kitchen and he started the speil about using down food and cleaning stuff...then he looked in the garage:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:HmmmmPlease don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0 -
my DS loved Rage against the machine! My late DH would play it each night as I was drifting off to sleep and DS would be kicking like mad but it worked to get him asleep when he arrived as he was a colicy baby and only settled for an hour at a time.
He still likes rock and metal music now and is a real head banger like his dad!SPC #329 £471/£500 banked
