    Good morning one and all

Must correct myself re the sizing of the tickets in mr t being a little misleading. I have checked and there is no law against it, only time font sizes have rules is when there is a reference to any type of credit.

Regarding everyones budgets, i tread carefully when i say that if i only had to pay a rent excess then we would be sooooo much better off. As it stands our mortgage alone is just over 1k and council tax £210.
I am not judging people as i dont know circumstances, so dont anyone shout, but its hardly a fair comparison for katierose (i think) to think her outgoings are so rediculous when comparing against someone on benefits with subsidies. If she was to compare against me for instance, shes a little off but not far!

Was going to write something else but have deleted it. There is a lurker on here that has worked out who i am, he used to work for my OH and tells tales! Oh, and he never contributes either! Ashame really as i used to like confiding in cyberfriends but now feel i cant. OH wouldnt be over the moon to think i had been discussing some stuff!
I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j

    Hi

I wasn't try to compare, I understand everyone's circumstances are different, I was really just trying to get ideas on how to lower my monthly outgoings as I knew it was high but was shocked at the actual amount when we added it up!

Sorry to hear a lurker is making you feel unsafe in posting!

Back on topic, off out shopping today and think I can take in two tescos en route so will hopefully get some good bargains!

Hope everyone has a good day.

    copied and pasted from faq:

In most circumstances, this is not permitted.

The only reason we will change your username is if it puts your privacy at risk. This usually means you've inadvertently registered using your name, email address or something that gives away your identity within your username.

If you fall into this category, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com and request that it is changed, giving three alternative usernames in order of preference.

Caz can you share the DTD please? TIA!

A set of BT phones but the receipt wasn't signed. Sorry fell asleep trying to get DS down.
just off the top of my head....

    Car Insurance - £35
    TV Licence - £13
    Virgin - £20
    Petrol for car - £40
    food - £100
    Rent excess - £90
    Gas & electric - 70
    Water - £14

    Mobile - £15
TV Licence - £24 (only recently got my first one so I'm paying the higher amount at the minute)
    Sky (TV, BB & phone) - £55
    Petrol for car - £85
    Contacts - £25
    Pension - £40
    Gas & electric - £100
Food - no idea as haven't worked it out

That's around £350/month and I'm surviving on tax credits at the minute. No rent/mortgage as I'm a sitting tenant :o No maintenance from ex either (see previous comment).

Not that bad Sunshinestar - had some underlying conditions (BP) that made it worse and i had to be monitored constantly during birth etc. So the wonerful Birth Centre was out of question. It wasn't just the pessaries but also the drip that makes the whole birth artificial. Long story, long birth - but maybe because it was the first baby.
Thinking of you. Didn't mean to scare you - just think all the natural remedies are good.

DS1 pessary 6pm, labour 7pm, everything great until 2pm the following day. Ended up on dry land attached to Syntocinon drip with an epidural. Forcep delivery. Didn't put me off though!

DS2 pessary at 6pm, pessary at 12am, pessary at 6am, inadvertant sweep at 9am follwed by a few contractions then nothing. Waters broken around 1pm and put on the Syntocinon drip to regulate contractions. Gas & air around 6pm, remifentanil around 8pm, midwives switched at 9pm as they didn't think I'd go that night. 45 mins later I was holding DS2 after labour went a la Speedy Gonzales. I think DS was out in 3 pushes as well and I barely felt a thing :o

Induction isn't so bad. trust me, after 2 of them I'd still have more kids even if I was guaranteed an induction each time. Both times I've ended up with wires in places I didn't know they could put wires and surrounded by doctors & monitors but with DS2 I was allowed out of the bed as long as I was still attached to the monitors and I was able to give birth in whatever position I wanted so not like in the old days of lying on your back and suffering. I recall sitting on the birthing ball, reading the Sun (nothing else lying around), bouncing through contractions with no drugs and worrying that the peelers across the road were getting an eye full but I was assured they can't see through the glass!

after a week of 2 kids and work can honestly say have no idea how all the single mum's do it.

You just get on with it. 6 months of 2 kids on my own albeit I'm not back at work yet but that equally means I don't get a break from the kiddos.

Perhaps compare wasnt the right word. I meant you shouldnt feel bad because yours was what some consider as high. After mortgage, council tax, life insurances, car stuff, mine isnt far off, thats all!
