It certainly is Tilly
... Hopefully others reading this diary may decide to try them as well
Well I did my c25k... As I was running for 90 seconds instead of 60 I slowed down as I wanted to ensure I completed the run ... I found my recovery time between runs was much shorter, on Wednesday I think I will try and speed up just a tiny wee but and see if I can still recover as fast
I was dreading doing the run, but I managed and I am so glad I did it0 -
Tilly tidies and sugar shuffle done today, although I did have a mars bar ... Just not at work
I would like a mars bar:o my resolve to not eat chocolate is waning after visiting your diary El...I was fine on MFW, then I come over here for some polite chit-chat and what happens? You have made my mouth water, that's what!!!!
I think I'll need to cross the busy road again back to MFW, and read about onions on GG's diary:cool:February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D

I need to join you Natty, I am not happy with my current sugar consumption ... And I do like onions
Well seeing as how we talked about Tilly tidys and sugar shuffles I thought I Would look up and see how much I have paid since the start of the year, just Incase anyone thinks it may be a good idea to try it, now remember I have 3 accounts ( so far) to tidy and I switch a lot ... But I was pleasantly surprised to learn I have paid off a grand total of £23.90 this month so far, and you know what I really enjoyed doing them and it wasn't in the least slightest but painful
Just something to think about if your considering joining the Tilly brigade0 -

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Chicken Stock
First make sure you have got all the meat off the bird. Great for sandwiches.
Cut up 1 large onion, and one large carrot and put in a pot that is also large enough to hold the chicken.
Add a pinch of salt, and some black pepper.
Put the chicken carcass on top of the chopped up onion and carrot.
Pour cold water over all of that until the top of the chicken is covered.
Bring to boil, and then lower heat to just bubbling (simmering). Cover the pan with a lid, if you can get the heat low enough so that is doesn't boil over.
I usually leave is as long as I can but at least two hours.
Turn off heat, and let cool.
Once cool you can skim the fat off the surface and remove the carcass. I sometime leave the onion and carrot in the stock. It depends on whether I can separate it from the carcass or not.
Hope this helps
Happy new year

Thanks chev ... So your just boiling the bones with some veg? How come there's fat to be removed at the end?
I'm nights this weekend but will buy a chicken and see if I can manage that, will use the meat for a chicken dinner and maybe some curry or something,
Can I freeze chicken stock ?0 -
the fat is left from the shreds of meat you don't manage to get off the carcase and yes stock can be frozenDo not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
