Do people actually eat that kinda thing? I thought tht was for medieval banquets:rotfl::rotfl:

Have cut up the last of the lasagne into portions and I'm going to freeze it so will find out how it goes, it's gotta beat lasagne for dinner 4 days in a row surely ? Have also frozen some chicken curry mr el had made for his lunch at work and 3 turnips that I had bought for 25p each, have grated them and put them into one portion bags for soup so that when I need soup I just need to grab the stuff from the freezer and start ... Well that's the idea anyway

May pop back to the shop and see if they have anymore 25p turnips and freeze them also as I usually pay £1 a turnip and 25p is bargainous in my book :)

Talking of soup... I just made a fresh batch using the last of the green lentils from the out of date cupboard, also steeping the last I the marrowfat peas from the same cupboard to go with sausage casserole tomorrow... Which has all been prepared and left in the fridge in the slow cooker crock thingy ready to be out in before I go to bed in the morning :)

I feel like a domestic goddess ... And it's all thanks to the menu planning :)

but what would happen if you used raisins??? would it blow up:D? Currently having sultanas in my porridge at the moment as they are left over from something my mum asked me to make at xmas and it seems weird as you put raisins in porridge:o but they taste the same... and don't start me on currants!

It might ferment a lot faster (so blowing up IS an option :rotfl:)
