My posh new boiler now only heats water as required... DS shall get out of that shower earlier:D

I think it's much warmer than Scotland, mind you we've been lucky so far this winter. My snowdrops and crocuses are poking through now:D

ahhhh see i have an old old system but have been advised not to change the system we have due to the fact it should never break down or cause much hassle

it is milder this year and yet we are using roughly the same as last year ... mr El is not taking to being cold now that he works in a heated office i think ... i'm sitting here with just a sleevless tshirt on ( i was doing my weights :) ) he is sitting with a tshirt and a jumper on and is quite cold

Snap! I've been told to leave mine alone for as long as it works!

I get how my gas is up (as I've been in the house a lot more) but I don't understand how my elec is around 1/2 of what it was last year ... esp as I now use the TD!

well today i slept well, got up about 5pm and did a wee bit of excercise downstairs ( weights today)

dinner was whatever was lurking in the freezer that needed using up, we used up some popcorn chicken that mr el bought on a whim, glad to say that it all used up and wont be replaced, we have steaklets looked out for tomorrow with some frozen veg.

i have put in for annual leave for thursday as i have a hospital appointment on thursday, it was short notice of me to give and i said i wouldnt mind if i didnt get it i would struggle on but this way it allows me the day to spend with mr el once i am finished :)

no tilly ups today, i think i am having withdrawl lol, but the £150 has been taken from the bank account which i am using for the savings for the second part of my journey plan so that is good to get that off to the start for the year.

nothing else much to report really, thoughts are stil going through my head about other plans to make and things to do but i am aware that i dont want to overload myself just now and burn out, slow and steady wins the race :)

just sat down and talked to mr el about the whole menu planning idea again, this time i was armed with the spreadsheet kindly donated to me and explained how the person worked their menu plan ( have also showed the spreadsheet for the financial stuff someone else kindly gave me )

he was very very impressed and is very interested in trying it out, so now i need to organise how i am going to make this work for me, i think it may be hard at first to think ahead but i think once we have the hang of it it will be easy enough :) which is great news and hopefully will speed our journey forward once we are on top of it :):):)

need to do inventories of things now, wont get the chance because i'm working nights, but will hopefully get a chance soon to do this

Just reading through some diaries and I see some people are talking about quidco clicks .. I do have the quidco app on my phone... I just looked an there is £1.35 to be made in clicks in the town where my work is, I can walk up to the shops in the morning ( will take me less than 10 mins) nip into the shops do the clicks then head home ... It's tempting, I first heard about them the other day, but didn't fully get how they worked.

This morning though with the day shift being a little late I drive a different way home to avoid traffic build up, it took me past one if the quidco click shops do I tried it, it was so easy so I just looked up some more in the town where I am ... Will try it out tomorrow and see how it goes

Second time lucky trying to post this

I paid 83p on my Tilly tidy up and my £1 sugar free mortgage payment :)

I told hubby a wee white lie tonight whilst our walking ... It wasn't aimed as a lie I just didn't finish all I should've said, I told him about my plan to pay £1 every day I don't have sugar ( I forgot to add the on work days bit) he thought this was a great idea, so I am considering maybe paying £1 a day to my mortgage every day I don't eat sugar, it will deff need to go to the mortgage as this is the debt that causes mr el the most concern, he feels that until we fully pay the mortgage off a) we won't own the house and b) we may loose the house, I can understand his thought process so think it would be a great way to help move that along

We spoke about the gas consumption as well but havn't quite came to any way in which we want to tackle it, but we are working in it so that us good at least

I managed day two of C25K today, it was very hard but I managed it

Last night of night shift tonight, tbh I am quite glad as I am tired tonight

Did my quidco check ins this morning I can only do two per day which is frustrating on the one hand but good in the other as it means I will keep going back and getting some excercise and making a wee but if money whilst doing it 10p anyone lol
