Well no bright ideas hit me through the night regarding gas consumption and how to reduce it, I think that will be in the back burner for a while .

Ahh that's the problem - you're using all the gas running that back burner! ;):rotfl:

Right just double checked .... I am on average 11.181 units per day ... Multiply that by 11.22 for my KWH and multiply that by unit price which is 7.426 total is £9.315 a day so I was out slightly :) ... Not a hell of a lot better though sadly :(

Oooops it pays to read... That's for my first 670 kwh hours then I go down to 3.293 p a KWH ... Think I will be in that rate shortly going by how much were burning through lol

Edited to add : just worked out were going through over 100 KWH per day so that bill will deff decrease once we've used the quarterly high rate
  • Beeping beep El ...... although I seem to have managed to spend £77 in gas in the past month  (last month's statement was estimated but it was pretty much spot on when I checked the readings so it can't be that.

Now ... I'm not good at trying to do these conversions - how much do you pay / kWh?

7.426 per KWH for the first 670 then 3.293 per KWH after that

My consumption goes down to £4.13 a day once my 670 is used up ... So that's a bit better .... So £128.03 per month on gas after the 670 KWH charge

That's still high though ... Or am I expecting too much gas for my money ?
