Well we've had the first casualties of winter, the shed has once again lost it's coverings and the wall has lost a load of its rough casting, so we have tidied up the rough cast that has fallen and will paint it all in the spring

Oh and the extension has sprung a leak so we will need to seal that somehow as well .... Not quite sure how yet but we will

Hope things don't get worse in January and February and I hope everyone is safe :)

That sounds like a good move. It's a strong wind that can blow paint off...

First find where the leak is. Sometimes when you do that, it becomes obvious how to seal it.

Depends on how strong your garage is...

OMG that's brilliant ..... and even tighter than mine (although I do have carpet lining the walls!) wish I had a door through to the house as you've no idea how hard it is to get in/out the car!

If I'd been him, I'd have got a car with a sun roof, and then fixed some ladders to the roof of his garage up to a hatch...

It's a flat roof that we use are a verandah ... I get the feeling we could be chasing it for years :( I think the plan is to seal the sides/ corners and coat the top with a sealing , fungus resistant paint ( maybe with some slip resistance in it as well)

    Hopefully that will work
