Hope your long day doesn't seem so long.
I know Skinty I am really not looking forward to when he slows down to 1-2lb a week
Thanks fingers crossed it goes faster than the Sunday ... That dragged in ( as I'm sure my photo showed lol)0 -
Oh Tilly I forgot to say about the sugar , so far I'm doing ok, although on Saturday a 5 pack of mini donuts reduced to 20p did find their way into my bag, I ate two and chucked the rest away, that's really the only slip I have had, not noticed any good benefits as of yet, but between no sugar and no caffeine I am struggling with energy0

1/2 a stone is amazing.
As skint says what is he going to do when it slows down to a normal rate?I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Beanie I really don't know tbh ... Will need to deal with it when the time comes
Have Tilly tidied 95p and sugar shuffled my £1... I know I'm early in the day but I am working till 10pm and don't have my purse with me so there is no chance of me spending any money on sugar based products today
Work is going slowbut I think that's partly because I'm not fully used to working the long days anymore ... Used to do them all the time and they were not an issue but not done them for years now

Wow, well done on the car insurance El ! :T That's a good amount of saving. I need to do mine this year, I missed the chance last time renewal came around (too slow
), but my "test comparison" proved that mine could reduce by almost half  Still got 4 months till its an option though.
Mr El's weight loss is great, and as for being impatient ... that's men for you! Don't they say that it should be done slowly otherwise it's likely to go straight back on ?
As far as the re-mortgage goes, I know what most on the boards would say ... don't borrow to pay debt ... But I think that everyone's situation is different, and only you know if it would be a more sensible option than not doing it, bearing in mind interest rates, amounts, repayment times etc. You've been talking over it and its a measured, considered option. If it suits you, go for it.

I was thinking about Mr El's weight this morning on my way into work - the drive is a bit boring sometimes.
I used to be about 3 stone overweight. I lost it between 1997 and 2000 and I kept off the scales. Being obsessed by the scales is not good. They show you a number and basically say 'you are unacceptable'. I would give them a wide berth or an occasional visit!

That's what I've been trying to tell him butti .. Have found a good app for the phone, that goes by pictures so I'm trying to get him to do that instead ... After all it's what he looks like and not what he weighs that matters0

I still weigh myself weekly but when I lost a lot of weight it was a lot for the first couple of weeks then a pound or so dwindling down to a pound every couple of weeks as I got close to target, tell him just to stick in and he'll get there. Hopefully he'll feel much better anyway and that'll encourage him
