One debt remaining. Home improvement loan.0 -
You have enough on your plate just now taxi, give you another year or so and you'll be ready to tackle it all again I'm sure
Beanie I havn't got a conservatory, I often think about getting one, along with a wood burning stove, a new kitchen ( ours is over thirty years old) a new bathroom ( ours is about 20 odd year old) getting the roof done ( just too too much to even think about there
Sadly it all stays thoughts as the reality is in now way shape or form could we afford it ... Not till we're debt free and have saved ... So at least 10 years away0 -

I'm ok with it Skinty .... I have to be really there ain't no other options currently:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Tbh we could go and get a loan or something, but were now at the stage were we are taking our time and getting out if debt first before we make any BIG decisions
And as you say, things change, who knows maybe next year I may have a new job... I think I would still get out of debt first though as I can imagine it would really really p1$$ me off no end if I were to spend a fortune in the house only to have it repossessed, I think I would rather wait until the house is fully paid for then get what I want ... If that makes any sense0 -
But there's nothing to stop me having a home improvement budget in the mean time, so that when we get into the position of being able to afford things we will already have some if not all of the money required... Sadly it won't be much I can afford to put by, but every bit certainly helps I think0

that makes perfect sense0

So I'm up early and in work for the day, just trying to decide what to do, I think a wee day out would be fun
Have brought my lunch in and left my purse, so there is no temptation to spend money lol0 -

Thanks Skinty , I'm thinking maybe a wee trip into the big city to see the museum that has kinda recently opened after moving digs a few years ago... Think it's still free ... I will drum into my work mates the free options that can be accessed lol0
