    That did make me chuckle!:D

1st thing I did when I got in was log-onto online banking as it's VSP transfer day ..... and there was only 38p (so I was really disappointed!) - decided to leave it until tomorrow & see if it's anymore then!:o

Well done on the speaking thing - I nearly broke out in a cold sweat just thinking about it .... that kind of thing fills me with terror :o

    What's vsp transfer day ?

I am the same with speaking myself rising, I think a lot if the reasons I'm not getting a job is because of my nerves, so this is to help me learn how to manage them better

Glad you are enjoying the speakers club. Sounds good fun and I bet it will be informative.

I'd go, just to be one of the younger ones, lol!

That is one of the things I enjoy as well :)

As I joined last night I was walked up to the podium ... So had a handsome 70 odd year old man hold my hand and treat me like a lady ... They are very sweet people :)

VSP ... Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4320309

A bit like a Tilly round up but you do it a set day each week and round down to either the nearest £5 or £10

Aiming to save for a new Dy*son this year :) (if it doesn't end up having to pay off some of the OD!)

Even more well done for the public speaking if it terrifies you :T

Actually something I must think about - I tend to get interviews (when there's jobs to apply for ) but absolutely terrible at selling myself at them :(

Most jobs I've got have either been as I've been there on a temp / agency basis (and the interview's not mattered as much as they know my work IYKWIM) or where the interviewer has also been terrible!:rotfl:

BUT I really want to move jobs this year so .... another thing on the "to do" list!:o
    Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
    2016 Sell: £125/£250
    £1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000
    Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!

That's the reason I'm doing it rising, I am terrified at interviews, I am over qualifies for the jobs I go for with more experience than they are looking for and yet I still can't close the deal, so I am hoping this group will help me address that

Ahhh VSP right got ya :)

Shopping bought this week, it came to £23.45 which is much less and I am happy with it , I did forget to buy froze. Veg but will buy that through the week

I also bought 4 tins of tomatoes, one spaghetti , mushrooms and two sausage casseroles that I didn't have on my list but they were all in special and are on the menu plan so it made sense to buy them.

Mr el and I went out to a village about 45 mins drive away to go and see about wood burning stoves, we have some goo ideas now about what we would like to do, but it would cost about £10k to do, we don't have a budget for anything like this so have decided to start a new budget for home improvements, it will take me a long long time to get anywhere near what we need, but the sooner I start the sooner I will make it :)
