My house has been quite cold for so long now, I ordered some thermometers they arrived today so have been checking them with the heating off the temp was 8degress centigrade, with the heating on it has went up to 12 degrees so far, it's still freezing
Have had a great lunch from left over stuff from the fridge, have got macaroni cheese to make for dinner I have some feta cheese that needs to be used up its date was up as best before last week ( will need to get on top of the best before dates ) not sure if feta cheese will go but I'm gonna try it and see0 -
WOW your house is cold0

That's it with the heating on taxi , have turned the heating up to level 4 now, so hopefully that will heat the house up some more, it's no surprise were £140 a month in gas and electricity tbh
I'm sitting with 3 layers of clothes on, but my nose, fingers and toes are freezing lol0 -
Should've added that's the upstairs, the down stairs is even colder ... Yikes0

Ohhhh that rivals my old house - relied on an open fire in the lounge to heat everywhere .... unfortunately there is a thermometer on my alarm clock so the first thing I'd see when clicking the alarm off was ........ 5 deg!
It was absolutely BALTIC - slept on a 13 tog duvet, frequently dressed, with loads of blankets & a 10 tog and 15 tog duvet & more blankets on top .... it NEVER got warm in there .....
Miss the house (was in a beautiful spot) but don't miss the cold .... I tried to buy it (and would've sorted the heating out) but the landlord wouldn't sell
My dream is to one day live somewhere like that again .... *sigh*Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

No Tilly tidies sadly, but sugar shuffle has been done so that's something at least and lets me keep an eye on the finances
I'm going out for a wee walk with mr el as I'm starting to go nuts with no excercise here, will be taking it easy and if the leg gets sore will come home0 -

Courgette rissoto sounds delish ... Never tried it
I was very unsure about menu planning Skinty and we had tried it before but it didn't seem to work , this time however it seems to be working ... Maybe we're more organised , maybe we're trying harder, maybe the way we are doing it this time is better ? I'm not sure what it is tbh ... But I do like looking at the sheet and seeing what I need to take out for the next day and what things we have planned ... I think it's maybe these additions that have helped as well0
