tried to do a multiquote thing but that didnt seem to work, will try again at a later date :)

taxi got a great sleep, i took my compression socks off to rest my leg a bit but oh boy the pain came back, left them off though, slept till 2.30pm i mustve needed it :)

littleg hi, welcome well sugar shuffle, it was an idea on the mfw board for people taking their packed lunches into work, i always take food into work with me so that wasnt really a challenge for me,

however, i am badly addicted to sugar, particularly on the night shift (i need the energy, i can basically mainline sugar and caffeine all night to stay awake) so i joined it with the previso that for every shift i didnt buy any sugar stuff ( chocolate, haribo etc)then i would pay £1 towards my mortgage, i mentioned this to hubby but forgot to mention the fact that i would only be doing it at work, he thought this was a great idea as it would not only help me deal with my sugar issue but will also be paying ( even just a small bit) of our mortgage off, so now every day i dont buy sugar stuff i transfer over £1, so far it seems to really be helping, i was thinking last night that i couldnt afford to do it anymore, but the truth is i dont know if i can afford not to do it, i need to deal with my sugar craving and maybe this is one way for me to do it, others have mentioned they might try it with their cola habit or their alcohol consumption to try and see if it helps them, hope that helps :)

hey butti, she is, sometimes when i feel very grrrrr there is this calm voice saying to me keep plodding el ... sometimes i want to shout at that voice and say go f**k yourself i'm in the sh*t here... but i know that voice is giving me pearls of wisdom and when i am going grrrr at it, thats when i need it the most :)

well i got up and sorted out the mushrooms, i keep the freezer in the garage so had to walk with this tray of slidy mushrooms back into the house as i didnt take a bag out to the garage with me, the tray was freezing that'll teach me :)

got another load sorted and currently freezing, seems to be working so far.

havnt done much else as i am not long up, put on my excercise clothes and i am soooo itching to get on the treadmill, but i wont will maybe go and do some weights fro the upper body or something though as i really want to keep active

was having a think last night about the amount of caffeine i have been having ( probably because i havnt been eating sugar) so i think i am going to have a couple of weeks caffeine free, no coffee for me, i have plenty of teas that will do me, i dont have much coffee left in the house anyway and whilst out shopping the other night i looked for some discounted coffee, but nothing was discounted enough for my liking so i didnt buy any, i have ( i think) one and a half packets of coffee left so fingers crossed when that goes that will be it :)

had half a tub of ben and jerry's, yes this is far far far too much and i shouldnt have ... but until today i wouldve finished the full tub so i am considering this as a success, i also didnt buy it, it was in the freezer so thats good, i havnt went out and purchased any sugar stuff ... its a small start, but its a start

Hi. Have found your diaries. My word you are doing well and have coped with so much! Good for you. :-)

Ah, now I know what a sugar shuffle is! Think I will start doing that too. I badly need to lose a couple of stone and I find it much easier to cut sugar out than down, if that makes sense. Am away this weekend, so will make feb 1st, the sugar shuffle start!

    Have a good day.

    hi catshark,

yep i have coped with alot in the last wee while, but i think everyone does, some people deffinatley get a much harder time of it, and whilst mine hasnt been easy i think it could have been much worse and i'm grateful that it hasnt been, i think it has taught us things along the way as well :)

oooo that will be great to have someone to sugar shuffle with, i am mainly aiming on the purchasing of things like marathons ( snickers) and haribos etc, i know i will still buy some sugar laden things but its the addicted to energy stuff i need to address ... i need to address all the sugar to be fair but if i can start on that one and get a grip on that to begin with i will be happy :)

today i thought i would try walking with my compression socks off, i lasted 20 mins before the pain came screaming back at me, so compression socks back on for another few days, and fingers crossed i can start running again on monday maybe

have managed to transfer over one ddm to the halifax so far, it's the t.v license so far will need to see if that comes out in februaty first before i will class it as a success though.

will need to look out my paper work for the second one now and have a wee shot at that before i start with the car insurance
