Thats worth remembering, but we will pay in full for the TV and hoover straight after the honeymoon. Is it bad that i've seen LOADS of stuff for the house that I want?! Haha!

Just remember that if you add so much onto the account that you can't clear it off by the end of the BNPL you will be charged the full amount of interest for the whole of the BNPL period, then you will be charged interest on the remaining balance plus the BNPL interest until the balance is cleared!

They can reduce their prices these days because they hope people won't clear their balances and that's how they make their money through the interest on the interest etc :)

  • I'm a little bit confused with BNPL - so if you buy something and you have the option of paying 12 months later interest free, do you have to pay it in full before the deadline in one payment or can you pay it off using installments as long as you pay it off before the deadline and not incur interest?

You can pay any time you want to. In instalments or as you know in one lump sum. When the interest free period is up you can leave the debt and pay an amount each month. However their apr is 39 percent.
