Double check t&cs I don't think it includes electricals (off the top of my head). Put the model number into google shopping section or pricerunner.co.uk and you should find it cheaper elsewhere. Only benefit is the buy now pay later
  • Says the 10% off cannot be used for sale, audio, gaming or computing. I'm guessing a tv doesn't fall under audio?

  • Don't forget to go via Quidco if you use them - 6% cashback for your first order:D

It's a 32" Samsung so I thought £250 was quite good, plus I'll get an extra 10% off.

Remember with BNPL options that any postage and packing HAS to be paid for when you receive your first statement and cannot be paid in 12 months time. I nearly got caught out.

I bought a new Miele VC and they were the cheapest on the web and also in shops I tried.

For me great company and service.

I remember reading about that, so thanks! With my luck i'd have missed that one!

I called them and explained that since i'd made the original application my CRF had changed significantly and could they check again.
  • Also, having googled the model number, i've found that Very are selling it at exactly the same price. I always thought catalogues were notorious for being more expensive? I've noticed a few things are almost the same price, and in some cases, cheaper. I'm confused!

catalogues never used to charge an interest rate as such. they made money as the selling price was always more than elsewhere and then it would be spread over x number of weeks. eg £250 tv, catalogue price £400 = 40 easy weekly payments of £10. now people are generally more value conscious and can check prices on internet, they work more like a high interest rate credit card that can only be used in 1 shop. they will make money on the people that can't afford to pay over 3 installments or miss the pay back date for buy now pay later
