Good grief. That is a singularly unflattering photograph, which is very odd given the context.

Well, the design I was thinking of was more a triangle so that the nostrils were left clear. I'd be worried that the furry ones in that BBC clip would be very hard to breathe through.

I think fleece would be breathable? Anyhow the air coming out your nose would heat the tip up. :D You can always breath out of your mouth. :p

Well I'm off to bed now.

OH has been in bed for ages as he has to get up at stupid o'clock. That means both he and the bed will be really warm. Time to make like the dog and press my cold nose against him I think.:D

Thanks for making me laugh.:D

Sweet dreams. :A I hope your OH screams like a girl when you put your parky beak on him. :D x
  • I can recommend a Slanket, it is so damn huge you can cover your whole self if you wanted plus my son comes under mine with me whilst we are sitting on the sofa watching the tv, we are soon roasty toasty.

You have a secret cruel streak I see..... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

He got up to go to the loo when I went to bed so my nose stayed at my side of the bed unfortunately. :D

What's worse is he got up at 3am and when he left, so did the heat. :( I should have just got up there and then and searched for another duvet to throw over the bed but I just lay there thinking 'I can't be bothered, I'm sure I'll be sleeping again soon anyway'.

Of course, you never just fall asleep again easily when you are cold so I lay awake for ages, then slept in this morning. Daughter was panicking because she thought she was going to be late for school. Oh well, raised blood pressure generates heat I believe. :D

Go and invest in a electric blanket, we haven't even got heating in our bedroom and survive with our EB. It's amazing, warms up the bed before you get in it and if you get cold in the night, switch it on for a while and you get all lovely and warm really quickly.
    Wouldn't be without it now!

I would if it were just me but OH hates the thought of an electric blanket. Weirdo that he is. :D

Mind you I could always get a single overbed type for my side and refuse to share if and when he gets cold and changes his mind about them. :D

You can get a double one with individual controls for each side, that's what we have, my OH cooks and I just get warm nicely :)
