Purchased vouchers from groupon and could not use due to no availability.
Contacted group who promptly replied via email and advised they would issue a credit rather than a refund. I agreed to accept as I planned to use service again. However after now 3 weeks no refund.

Furthermore after more than 10 emails Groupon have now refused to reply to my emails.

I can only assumed this is the policy from Groupon to attempt to withhold refunds.

This is not an isolated case also awaiting refund for the Tshirt offer. AGAIN CONTACTED GROUPON AND WAS ADVISED REFUND..... STILL WAITING.
Retailer has posted information on there website advising problems.

Now having to contact trading standards to recover almost £100.

DISGUSTING SERVICE AND WOULD QUESTION IF THIS IS A SCAM ? WHY ARE GROUPON ARE CURRENTLY BEING INVESTIGATED.

NO LONGER USE GROUPON. BEWARE - In relation to deals advertised I have no contacted retailers direct, who have agreed to offer similar deal.
Much better and cuts out GROUPON.

Has anyone bought the all in one bluetooth car kit? I would welcome your thoughts. Personally I think it's rubbish!

  • Anyone else received their Beanbag from INFURN?

I'm in the same boat as others & have tried e-mailing/calling countless times. Am tempted to contact my card supplier & report the transaction as fraudulent to reclaim the payments made.

Yes I bought one for my daughter as she'd started a new job and would be driving around a lot. I agree absolute rubbish, would only work with one of our three phones but even when it did work the sound quality was so bad it might as well have not connected. Tried to get a refund but Groupon and the ICE company playing games

The word scam springs to mind!

Finally got refund from ICE company last week for the postage, but still waiting for Groupon to refund their part of the deal. Will give them until tomorrow and then take further action.

Well of my three GroupOn purchases one went really well (great deal and no problems) - the other two however...
    - WeCleanItUp - Bristol "cleaning company" - the offer was for a whole house clean so I purchased and booked the day - it had to be a weekday since they were already booked up on the weekends so I ended up booking a day off work. Come the day and no one turns up - I call the various numbers on the website and find all of them were cut off.
After filing a paypal dispute and emailing GroupOn customer services I did get a refund.
-Diet to Your Door - A weeks worth of dieting meals - it didn't arrive in the advised 15 working days, so I emailed the Diet to Your Door customer services. They replied and said they had email issues and the order was on its way. Another 15 working days later and its too late to claim my money back from paypal. GroupOn have said they will ask the Diet to Your Door company to get in touch but so far nothing :-(

I will be much more wary of any GroupOn offers in the future. It's not all bad but its certainly not all good.

31/03 - I finally got the second refund after the other company (Diet To Your Door) failed to respond.
