It shows just how underhand they are.

It's not unknown for companies to point to terms and conditions that were not part of an original contract.

yeah i'm not getting into an argument with you again!

And to top it all off, I ordered a beanbag through Groupon from a company called Infurn........A xmas gift for my daughter was due to arrive week 50, then I noted they changed it to week 04...No good to me as it was a xmas present...since then I have made daily phone calls but they are not answering and the mailbox is full.....sent emails which have been ignored......emailed Groupon and have been ignored I'm absolutely livid..............Google Infurn and see how many people have been left disppointed this xmas with ordered gifts........20,000 beanbags sold between here and Ireland......And it seems there were issues last year when the offer ran with Groupon then!!!

In the same boat here. Ordered 8/11/11

Sent a complaint 2 days ago requesting why I hadn't heard anything.

Today got a letter saying thank you for ordering beanbag. As a small thank you here's a 20 euro voucher. Enclosed is voucher and catalogue. Minimum 200 euro spend lol!

So what's that about? I just want my beanbag! I've heard other people struggling to get in contact but it says nothing about delivery date or anything.

Groupon haven't replied to my email either haha.

Better get my delivery soon tbh. I'm fed up now :/

I've got the same problem, if you log onto the infurn website you can see your order and it tells you when you can expect it(under my orders, then details). I ordered mine around the same date as you and for weeks it said Calender week 49. Its now changed to Calender Week 02 so I am guessing thats second week in Jan. Its ridiculous though, I was tempted to buy quite alot of stuff from Infurn as I liked what I saw on their website and catalogue. However the service has been so diabolical on this bean bag I won't be using them again!

I have had exactly the same experience! Today I visited the address they quote on all their correspondence. It is just a shabby office that only has their bemused accountants. She said they pop in every month to collect their post but they have had a lot of people asking for them. This company is either fraudulent or certainly has a lot of people after them to be using these secretive tactics. I am in the process of referring thiS to the Advertising Standards Authority, Trading Standards and the Office of Fair Trading. Perhaps MSE can do anything about this company?

    Are you referring to Infurn?

I ordered the beanbag too. I haven't been able to get through on the phone but got an email from them today. Also spoke to someone from Groupon yesterday who said that Infurn was a legitimate company and that there were delays with the beanbag but I would get it. After Christmas though which I am not happy about. It was a present for my daughter. Esther

UPDATE ON INFURN BEANBAG VIA GROUPON OFFER:

My beanbag arrived today but from what I have seen of it so far, (not actually taken it out of the box yet), I am not impressed. It's for my daughter so will see what she thinks.

    At least it came.

I've used Groupon once and will NEVER use them again.

I have extremely poor service when something went wrong - not hearing from them despite emails being sent - this is still ongoing from something I ordered in AUGUST!

I appreciate that the seller of the actual product is involved too and they have been just as bad. Terrible.

You misunderstand - many companies use their accountants address as their registered office, it certainly does not make them fraudulent or secretive.

    Hello all,

I really don't know why I keep going back but I stupidly do. After being burned with the Printerpix deal - which some of you may have written on that thread - I purchased a pink Audi TT ride on car for my goddaughter. What happened there was out of the blue I got an email stating that Groupon had found a new supplier and instead of the pink audi I could transfer my £99 voucher onto a £325 silver porsche and pay extra for personalised number plates but there was a limited period with which to do so - I think about 5 days if memory serves.

You can imagine my horror when a few days after I had paid extra through paypal and bought the personalised number plate and AGAIN paid for postage and packaging for the delivery of this car, I received an email from Bodini selling this same silver porsche directly themselves for £81! I have obviously made a loss of £18 by buying through Groupon! I have complained to groupon and offered to forward on the email to them too but am still waiting a result.

Did anyone else buy this car through Bodini and Groupon?
