re having to give the jobcentre your log in details so they can check your jobsearch and message you. I asked my advisor again yesterday and she said all jobseeking will go online and when uc comes in the jobcentre will need to see your profile so they can send you messages etc and any suitable jobs.
she keeps telling you the party line.

You don't need to include date (your records are time stamped)

Enter as follows :- Applied for job as Purchase Ledger Supervisor Reed job reference xxxxxxx ...(if through UJM put its job ID code instead)
    and that's it.
how are they time stamped? You have to enter on a job search the date you applied for all jobs.

If I applied for it 3 days ago on the Caterer or Reed and entre it now that's not 3 days ago is it?

Also why then are you saying you don't need to say how you applied , who you applied to and their contact and when you will follow this up?

This is what we now write so what makes them wanting it all on the UJM different?

    OK EDIT

Just had a look on UJM and you can add ONLY 250 characters to the notes at one time. It puts the date as the date you entered it and is a bit of a joke to be honest.

  • I started the WP on 27/07/11, I should be no longer on it by now right? They sent me a letter about 2 weeks ago about contact with me, but I should be done with it now shouldn't I? It is 2 years from when you start it that you are no longer on it or would getting a job and then losing it/ signing on again mean the 2 years was reset? I have emailed them to ask why they are still contacting me but want to make sure they shouldn't be.

  • No because I am in work and have been in and out of work while on WP. I 've had 2 temp jobs, one for 7 months and one for 2 months and been in work now since Dec 2012. I signed on in between these jobs but was hoping I would be finished with the WP as started in July 2011 so figured I'd be out by July 2013?

  • Yeah they have emailed and wrote me a letter offering in work support so they must know. I will see what they reply to my email and if no reply I will call them. They are so disorganised now all the better staff have left that they probably haven't realised I am meant to have finished. I'm sure the contact will stop when they realise ha.

  • The WP is a bunch of b******s

They say they will find you work but then they say that there is no work around, but you still have to apply for jobs which are seriously out of you league

I think that if they got everyone that is on benefits who is fit and able to work to do voluntary work for their money then people wouldn't be so inclined to sit on their lazy !!!!!! sponging off benefits

I am not saying that everyone on benefits is a sponger as I am on JSA myself and I would be willing to do voluntary work for my money, I actually enjoy working and I am only on JSA as a victim of circumstances of the governments making

I want to work so that makes me different to a sponger who sits at home on their !!!!!! all day watching TV, drinking beer & taking illegal drugs

    Thats my 2pence worth

    Cheers

    TT
