Getting people in? In where? For interview? Getting people in without 'talking' to them has nothing to do with appearance does it?

I have never worked for anyone where you didn't have to wear a suit so I know appearance does matter for professional companies with professional jobs and none of those are actually using the WP.

It does as you can work in the place without any interviewplus many at the jobcentre etc don't wear suits when female

I email myself all the jobs I apply for anyway but Id love to see how much this note box holds on the UJM and can you put 50 jobs in the box at one time or not. I bet its a line at a time and will take sodding forever
you will only need to ensure you put enough in to meet your jsa agreement. everything you do after that you dont have to record on there. it can just be recorded on paper for reference.

I have never heard of a job anywhere where you do not need an interview.

The job centre staff in my opinion are very badly dressed. Mine has a sign up that its dress down Friday obv on Fridays but you'd never know the difference

No but how much can you write in the box

    Can I write.

Date 4th September 2013, Purchase Ledger Supervisor, Reed.co.uk Cameron Kennedy, Contact XXXXXXX how I applied via the online account at Reed , date I will follow up xxxxxx

Surely if they want us to fill in all jobs applied for they need a better way of recording it like maybe a copy of the sheet or booklet online

If appearance mattered then why is it so many employers are Ok with getting in people from the WP etc without talking to them?

Not clear at all as to what they are talking about.

Never ever heard of anyone getting a real job with no interview and not being dressed professionally.

You don't need to include date (your records are time stamped)

Enter as follows :- Applied for job as Purchase Ledger Supervisor Reed job reference xxxxxxx ...(if through UJM put its job ID code instead)
    and that's it.
