But they weren't sure WP was classed as an "employment measure" They thought they were interpenetrating it wrong or something they said so needed someone better to check it over.

Ok, so loony2012, they are actually questioning the FOI as the FOI clearly states, with relevant references to the regulations, that the WP is an "employment measure".

Jesus, they can't even take the word of their own department! :rotfl:

and they should know the rules better. they shouldnt need to send it to someone who knows more about it. they should all know whether they can send people onto mwa or not.

i asked mine a couple of months ago when my finish date was and it took a couple of clicks on the computer for her to tell me.
Why would I ask? You seem to forget its the DWP that tell you it is complete hence the letter and the appointment for the JC you would see on the letter we all got 2 years ago!!

Yes that's the point. When they came back and said it seemed strange i said did you check Section 3 point 8 of the
Jobseeker’s Allowance (Schemes for Assisting Persons to Obtain Employment) Regulations 2013

she said yes and as far as they were doing it was the WP wasn't an employment measure for us.

Hence why she now needs someone else to recheck as they think by the info i gave they are misinterpretation it to us.

She was pretty confused by the info and by what she knows about the WP so needed some 1 different elsewhere to go through it and get back to them.

I hope i'm not back on MWA as wth has litter picking got to do with my job roles in "Factory/Retail/Warehouse" Yet MWA put me on road sweeper lol.
I'm a lovely sides man who kicks litter from path onto road for the sweeper lol.

No they said they think "They" are interpenetrating it wrong. From the way they said, they meant them on the floor.

They were sending the info and the guidance to someone who knows more about it.
I spent half hour in JCP whilst they kept reading over their regulations but before they could confirm stuff they had to get it sent to someone who knew more about it.

In the mean time i sign as normal and won't be referred to MWA until it's been resolved.

They actually tried hard to have DICE ( MWA Provider ) to cancel the DNA so as to no one bothered me about sanction until it was sorted.

But they said they sent it 2 days ago so nothing they can do. JCP Said i will have to inform them of the regulations and send the printed off regulations from DWP so a decision can be made.

It's just a waiting game for me atm but as soon as i find out i will report back.

Because after Monday from the FOI info here i didn't attend MWA lol.

So went to sign on today. Got told i couldn't sign on until few hour later as they had issues to sort. Which was me not going to MWA.

All snotty at first even after i mentioned the FOI info. They changed tune when floor manager returned and said regulations did say that.
But they weren't sure WP was classed as an "employment measure" They thought they were interpenetrating it wrong or something they said so needed someone better to check it over.
Nice one, you're a tough cookie.

One way or other you should sort it for others at your Jobcentre in way rules should be correctly interpreted.

Strange to see them being helpful trying to cancel DNA with provider or more like covering their own backs, typical civil servant jobsworths.

What letter are you even talking about?

TWO YEARS AGO remember that far back?

When you get referred to the WP the JC gave you a letter saying the WP will last till the JC say it has ended!

Well refer back to that one and then the letter I got saying it was COMPLETED

How else can I put it!!??

And to top that the WP have booked me NO more appointments to its ended as of this time next week!

I am talking about the letter I got TWO YEARS ago - well all got them for sure

It states what the WP is and how long its lasts and that you can only leave/finish when the DWP tell you

As per the letter that I now have saying...............wait for it

    the work programme is COMPLETE!!

No more appointments leads me to believe I do not have to go there again so oh hang on I AM FINISHED!!
