I am and if they book me more appointments I will say the letter says the WP has ended so I will have to contact the JC to check if I need to attend.
I emailed my WP today with my weeks worth of jobs and a note saying I had this letter. No reply as per usual!

Having said that when I got referred the letter did say that you have to attend till the DWP tell you its ended not the other way round.
my letter for the jobcentre came before my end date so dont assume that because you got yours that it means you dont have to attend.

what are you on about? I haven't said I am not attending!!

I said I have my review tomorrow!

    The letter says

'I have arranged an interview for you with your personal adviser to discuss the support available to you now you have COMPLETED you time in the Work Programme'

your first sentence gives the impression you are assuming you're finished due to the letter you got and will get difficult by hinting to them you will only attend future appointments after checking with the jobcentre. this would be a waste of time and make them think you are being an idiot. unless the wp says so you must assume you have to attend there until they say otherwise or the date of your jobcentre appointment arrives.

    NO NO NO NO

The WP ends when the JOB CENTRE SAY SO.

It says this this on the letter you would have got TWO YEARS ago when the JC said you were being referred to the WP

My apt at the job centre is next Wednesday and like I say the letter says it has come to an end,

I am far from being an idiot and will say if they book me in why does the letter says its come to an end?

IF they want to look stupid more than they do they can!

I do not see how it is me getting difficult by telling them the letter says otherwise if they book me in for more time wasting experiences!

lol i went to sign on. JC told me to come back at half 2 even though i was on time and they found "problems" Sat for 10 minutes whilst they were whispering about MWA. I asked why i needed to come back when i was there and they didn't tell me.

They also took my sign on book and job search off me and wouldn't give it back.. Lets see what they say at 2:30 when i go back.

Personally I don't understand why everyone hates the JC and WP so much.

We've all been through the signing on process but the way I see it is like this, if we are willing to take money off the gov then we have to accept the consequences of doing so, we sign an agreement to take part in what they ask of us. MANY people in other countries would be more than happy to attend JCP and WP in exchange for JSA and everything else that comes with it.

People say its a waste of their time and maybe it is, but in exchange for your time you receive £71.50 to put food on your table, something you would not have had otherwise.

    But thats my opinion anyway

a letter saying it has come to an end that gives you your first appointment date at the jobcentre does not make any difference to your end date. your end date will be exactly 2 years after you were refered. so to attempt to get out of any appointments before that date by waving a letter in their faces will make you look silly.
