you can cut & paste from other sites in the "job post notes" in the "Activity History" section It's 250 words for each entry - don't do what I did and type in all my applications only to find you have to do them one by one:mad:
then you press SAVE at the side and it goes into your activity record and that's what you tell them to look atWe’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
for me it all feels a lot calmer I went in to actually sign on and Nick The Pr*ck my advisor was actually reasonably pleasant
I asked "when am I to come in next" and he said "when would you like to come in" I said "in two weeks time to sign on!" laughing
he said "I'm being mean aren't I - that was a very cruel question"
he always makes a little comment ot two like this disguised as an off the cuff remark but it's actually him getting off on being 'in charge'
I honestly couldn't care less - let the baby have his bottle
He DID however let me off a going in again tomorrow and said "oh don't come in for that we can do that today and add it to your signing on day" and changed it to Thursday
("there you are! - I'm giving you two days off!")
he looked at my Universal Job website list of applications (he had to ask the woman next to him "how do I show I've looked at his search record? What do I click?")
Even though he is a creep I would not trust as far as I could throw I feel that if I play the game and go in when they say I'll be ok - this may of course be a trick to lull me into a false sense of security
I do feel calmer about the whole thing though - I have been so stressed Iwas almost ill with it0 -

I heard the WP I'm on was being scrapped months ago, but it is still going and I assume the JC are still sending people. Don't know if it is going, but there's many other programs out there that are still running and I haven't heard anything about them scrapping WP altogether.0 -
my advisor told me the government is in a contract with the WP providers that it can't get out of0

The WP providers work for the DWP so they had to bid for the job like a builder does when they give you a quote to fit your kitchen say.
They would or course have a contract but this can be cancelled at any time. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
the DWP agreed on a longer time limit and now regret it but obviously have to honour it
being able to cancel a contract at any time defeats the purpose of having one in the first place0 -

This has to be the fourth time my advisor hasn't let me know he won't be in and I've either found out by myself calling by chance or going in and then having to go back home straight away!0
